What's going on Kings East, how has Schenn looked? In his 9 game stint with the Kings last year he looked like he had some good offensive instincts but needed improvement on his play away from the puck.
Hopefully you guys enjoy Schenn, now and in the future. We in LA are already enjoying Richards
Schenn had the giveaway for the second Caps goal. Simmonds has an assist though.
Giroux has looked noticeably worse in his own end this year. Apparently Carter actually did pull a lot of weight on that line last year.
No kidding. I called that from when he first got traded...he might've gotten a lot of hack on these boards; but the guy was our best even strength forward for a reason.
What in the **** was that. We just have to give backstrom some free points don't we. Bryz has looked very sloppy, but neither goal is on him.
Hartnell has two rookies on his line, and he is the one that ****s up.
Probably part of the reason Harts turned it over,,,,The Flyers do that exact no look break out pass a lot....This time nobody was there.I am not going to get all flustered and start hating on Hartnell over that...Stuff happens.

He was also our best face-off player and he was improving at it each season statistically. That goes a long way defensively, especially when your team sucks at face-offs.
I heard that too but that just doesn't sound right...
Well anyway the team looks flat. Like they're respecting the caps too much. Not enough hits, that team is weak sauce against physical play.
Not so much anymore. They added brouwer who is top five in hits and the caps are one of the bigger teams in the league. They do lack a true shutdown big hitter on defense,to me it looks like they want to move the puck faster so they have an abundance of offensive guys on defense. They built it to beat the forecheck of tampa and pittsburgh...too many teams pounding on Green.

Well Carter is on IR right now so this wouldn't help much now anyway.
Did someone state that? It's far from being accurate.
Yeah, pretty sure it was 2-2 last season alone.

I've been jumping on them for weeks. I'm ahead of the curve! No really though, this sort of thing will happen when you have a lot of brand new lines trying to find chemistry and 3 rookies in the lineup. Things will get better as time goes on.
Let's hope Lavi can outcoach Bruce. It shouldn't be too hard to do.

I wouldn't start hating Hartnell just for that either. When combined with all the other dumb stuff he's done this year, it's starting to wear thin w/ me this year. He's been by far the worst forward this year in the top 9.
the blue jackets need a goalie, and can always use another forward on the wing, i wonder if they have anyone we would be interested in on the back line. dont get me wrong, just ideas running through my head while im reading what everyone is saying......

Hmmm I see. Makes sense. They have a similar forecheck as the flyers too...
