Look at the difference between Voukon and Bryz

Voukon can see the puck. Bryz has to fight through 2 or three guys to see it.

That's been the story. The caps came out with more effort and drive to the net.

Maybe it's just me, but aside from his 2 goals, Ovechkin hasn't really been that noticeable tonight. Crappy team defense let the little guys beat the Flyers tonight.

That said, I don't think we are witnessing the real JVR, but I still have far tamer expectations than most.

See?

Move him back up.

Schenn should have never got called up.

Get in front of the net you will score.

I like how our 4th line has probably been our best.

Love the calm reaction from Couturier. Just like last game, he knows that wasn't a big goal.

But it was a goal!

Couturier hasn't been able to properly celebrate an NHL goal yet.

Move Briere on the wing so we can roll with Giroux, Couts, and Schenn as the three centers

or

Move Schenn to the wing and possibly go with an all rookie line

THat's what they shouldve been doing all game. Get to the net...they have the size. Instead they got too pass happy, and that's not going to work.

I think they should have waited until they figured out what they were going to do with Couturier.

O well it doesn't matter now because he's up.
