I thought that pairing had a steady game, myself. Woywitka has been a solid pickup, was completely wrong about him.

No hat for Henrik tonight. Wonder who gets it.

Anyone who can make me board-hop off the bedroom door, rip my shirt off, and death metal growl in one fell swoop gets a star.

Who gets the hat? In all honesty lundqvist should again but I think it'd be cool for someone else to since they all know henrik is their backbone.

Also, should we edit this thread to be the hat winner, etc.

McD in the post-game interview talking about his game winner "that's what happens when you show up."

What a G.

I only watched the third after listening to the first two periods and I thought he was awful at some points tonight on defense but he was solid on offense I thought even before that last play. He is something else so far this year. Henrik was amazing as always and Gaborik was dangerous every shift.

Erixon, Prust, Henrik, or Gaborik.
He gets a star in my book, because despite his troubles, he was still able to contribute to the win. No one can expect a perfect game from him.. He's being asked to play way more minutes than he's used to at this stage of his career.. If he was having a bad game playing 16-18 minutes a game, it would be less acceptable in my book. So far, he's done a pretty damn good job about it. 26+ minutes +1

Agreed. The Rangers were the better team in this game by quite a bit. Doesn't bother be that they needed 64 mins and 59 secs to prove it. They were the better team. nuff said.

That move he made around the Calgary player was classic Dubi. Same with the steal and the way he controlled the puck to get it to Girardi.

Not crazy at all. I said it when we traded for Eminger, and I said it when we grabbed Woywitka--given reasonable roles, they'll both be absolutely fine. I'm pleased with Woywitka's play thus far.

I voted for McD...personally when a guy scores a GWG he deserves a star IMO...remember this is what Game 45 for the kid? He had some rough stretches this game but he also had a lot of good stretches.

It would be cool if we could get a pic or screen grab of each guy who gets to wear the Fedora in each postgame thread.

hopefully everyone will have a go at wearing it over the course of the season

Alright guys, thats two wins in a row, we win on Saturday, well thats called a "Winning Streak". Ah, I love Major League.

POTG:
1. Gaborik
2. Lundqvist
3. MCD

We need to step it up though. We disappeared in the 2nd and 3rd.

Good enough answer for me. Now I just have to find out if the other 32 voters did the same.
