Same....you have most of the hardcore STH on this site posting and i have to seriously say at least 90% hates the bridges. Maybe the 10% are lower bowl people.

That being said and Ive said this a million times...its going to suck when all us "upper bowl" people love our brand new seats and views next year..and then in 2013-2014 those bridges show up. GRRRR

we should start emailing our reps to see if they will send us a virtual seating chart of what our seats will look like for the 2013-2014 season. or when they begin to relocate us, demand that we see what our view point will look like with the bridges.

Part of the problem is a lot of the outrage has been voiced here and not to MSG where they directly see how upset people are.

Not that it matters anymore, these bridges are happening whether people like it or not. They aren't going to get rid of the bridges and cut capacity by 1,000 just because some people don't like it.

Exactly. The bridges are happening like it or not. Just do what you can to get as close to the front of the upper bowl (or behind the goals) before opening night in 2013. Everyone still has two cycles of seating upgrades to move around before then. I know some people are also worried about sitting directly below the bridges, but I'm not one of them.

Im seriously laughing over here about how much people are crying about these bridges.

THEY WONT BLOCK YOUR VIEW.

It will not block a single persons view of the ice at all.

I dont understand why you guys think they will be so low that you wont be able to see.

Maybe if your seat is high enough you can look down over the bridge to the ice

I'm considering just moving behind the net, where there is no bridge and will probably be cheaper. But like I said, I dont think the bridge will bother me but you never know until it is actually there.

The netting bothered me a surprising amount when I was behind the net...

A bigger issue than the big scary bridges IMO.

According to the artistic renderings, the people sitting in the 400's on the sides of the ice will not be able to view Gardenvision anymore due to the bridges and they will have to rely on flat panel monitors that are suspended from the bridges....

Not one person here thinks they won't see the ice. We all understand that. But if your watching a game and if people are walking over your head, its kind of distracting. Not to mention the idea of not seeing garden vision or the banners and the entire arena. Im in 412 so I'm in the corner. So the bridges will either connect to the west end party deck right over my head or ill clear it by a section based on my estimate. I have no problem moving over behind a goal or down a little. Like i said, we have to see what these new prices will be and how each seat, row, and section will be affected by these bridges. I want answers when they send me the new stuff in march, and I intend on asking all these questions.

did you ever think about your peripheral vision? while we'll be able to see the entire ice, we will be distracted by people walking above us. we'll have one year of great sightlines and then we'll be forced to deal with that eyesore above us.

all i know is that msg and the ticket reps have to give us an illustration of what our seats will look like when the bridges are in place so there are no surprises when the work is done.

Transformation site changed with the arena reopening. It now lists everything in the arena as open and has a picture of them getting the arena ready for a concert tomorrow night. The earth cam is gone also. I assume it'll be back next offseason. Here's the picture...

Nice. It looks like they're putting up the banners. Damn, the Garden doesn't look right with black seats.

And that would seem to indicate that, as expected, the remaining teal seats making up the last 3 or so rows of the lower level will be replaced with the mid level luxury boxes/seats this coming summer. All the existing 300s ticket holders will move slightly closer to the ice although a bit higher in elevation. The best place to see this is where the new 300 section extends next to 328.
