Zipay is really off his rocker right now, I was watching TSN and they NEVER called Boyle with the goal...

Come on steve...

Steal WHAT in overtime? The Flames were lucky to pot the two goals they did on us.

Not a chance.

BUT, McD is pretty damn fast, and has some moves as well. That's great for a D-man and if he can round out an offensive game, that would make him a top pairing guy.

But I'm still not holding my breath. When Staal scored a few goals back in the day people started lauding him for it and seemed to be expecting him to build on it. It's just not gonna happen with Staal, and I don't really expect it with McD. Here's hoping though!

The main differece between Staal and McDonagh offensively is that McDonagh has MUCH more dexterity when the puck is on his stick than Staal does, especially in the offensive zone. Staal has trouble handling the puck due to the length of his stick, and his overall "awkwardness" offensively.

Staal is very comfortable with the puck on his stick in the defensive zone, he manages the puck efficiently and moves it well.... However that ends when he gets into the neutral zone and offensive zone....

I think he meant that the game was destined for a shootout, and we stole that away. Don't think he meant we were outplayed and shouldn't have won...I think it was just a reference to the time remaining.

But who knows
