He's always looking right over their shoulder. And everyone's not the biggest guy in the world.

WOW ! Pierre is absolutely one creepy dude ! I always thought he looked like one of Hitlers SS Nazi's.....I can see him wearing black boots and the whole Nazi uniform garb snapping out a crisp zeig Heil while standing between the 2 benches....CREEPY !

I can tell you why you think this...Pierre has an unfortunate resemblance to one Heinrich Himmler, former head of the SS:

Once I noticed that I can't stop seeing it whenever he's on the screen.

I hope this helps, Canaris was pretty awesome. He hated Himmler:

Pierre is a national treasure. TSN and Versus are nothing without him.

Well as much as he's bad..Dorny I thought was the worst. Apart from his flying elbows that JJ had to endure in the press box when there was a fight ...I constantly couldn't stand him covering up the Flyers goalie by saying the "goalie was screened." Every damn shot the opposition took he said this. I was surprised he didn't say it in a shoot out...
Me and my brothers used to bash on Dornhoefer all the time. My brother met him at the Flyers/Caps game and I asked him if he remembered to put some pants on.

At least once a game one of the announcers will say something and then ask Coatsey to confirm. 75% of the time Coatsey will have no idea what's going on, and it leads to unrelated banter as play continues. It's unprofessional as hell, but I enjoy it every time. I like to assume he isn't listening because he's trying to get the pour cap off a bottle of vodka so it's easier to load up his beer.

100% agree. Honestly, if your all about the information dont listen to the Flyers broadcast. I love listening to Coatesy. People joke that he is drunk, but he really cant be anything but that with how he talks about the most random **** most of the time.

Let's not forget when coatsey refers to the play as being either "loosey goosey" or "willy nilly".

And, oh yeah, can't stand him now nor did I when I went to Bobby clarke's day camp and he was the director.

I try to watch as many games as I can when the Ducks aren't on... and I have to say, the Flyers broadcast is easily the most enjoyable sports broadcast I ever watch. Period. Coatsey only furthers that.

anyone hear Coatesy on Jagr's goal just now?

something like...

"Boucher goes down, and that gives Jagr the perfect opportunity to roof it."

Thanks Coatesy.
