Why Blow It Up?

Quote:
If anyone doubts that Peter Laviolette wasn't upset with his team after Thursday's 5-2 loss that was put to rest on Friday at Skate Zone.

Lavy is bag skating them. Suicide drills.

Worse, he's ripped up all four lines.

Today's lines: Hartnell-Briere-Voracek; Schenn-Giroux-Jagr; JVR-Read-Simmonds;
Shelley/Nodl-Couturier-Talbot

Can't hurt looks like rewarding hartnell for his poor play but might be the kick in the ass he needs...........

I don't think it's a reward for his play, I think it's an attempt to improve it. Danny's, too.

WHYYYY!??!!

those would be epic lines if we swapped cooter with Read

(i really REALLY think schenn-G-Jagr is going to be an amazing line)

The guy is selfish with the puck but lacks the skill to do anything with it. Put Read or Simmonds in his spot and give them more minutes! Also, Hartnell should go.
Stop.

its funny on the Flyers TV chnl on the Flyers site, for todays practise interviews.

Lavi says the practise was normal and certainly not a "message, bag skate"

then the reporting from outside sources says it was, and Briere says it was a message bag skate practise..

lol, just strikes me as funny, how the reality can be different depending on who you listen to..

either way i hope some sort of message was learned from the loss to the Caps, cuz that was one bloody ugly game all around.

They looked lethargic and uninterested last night. After peppering the Caps in the 2nd and getting nothing to show, then giving up 3 quick goals to start the 3rd, most of the guys looked like they threw it in. I could see a bag skate coming today from the 12 minute mark of the 3rd pd last night.

Bag skate may be the most overused term in Hockey.
