#6 - 10.22.2011 | New York Rangers @ Edmonton Oilers | 10:00 PM - MSG (HD)
THE MATCHUP
GAME #6
Oct 22nd, 2011
@
(2-1-2)
___________ (2-2-2)
10:00 PM ET
REXALL PLACE - EDMONTON, CANADA
MSG (HD) | CBC (HD)
QUOTES TO NOTE
I felt pretty bad on that powerplay goal, I was screening Lundqvist a little bit there.
I wanted to try to make it up for him and I am glad I could with the game winner in overtime.
- Ryan McDonagh
We try and support each other out there, even with some new guys back there. And we need that because we're going to have guys out (injured) once in a while.
Right now we have two good defensemen out and we need guys to step up and right now we are getting that. And we played a pretty simple road game and played really well.
- Henrik Lundqvist
You feel excited about getting the two points. More importantly I thought we, through most of the game, played better as a team.
- John Tortorella

We should beat the Oilers.
I wanna see Marty get a start. Hank's had a heavy workload the past two games.

When I see some of the comments I've seen above about easy victories and such, I begin to think it won't be so easy.

RNH may be scratched tonight for Gagner which is interesting. Would definitely get Biron a start here also.
I was hoping for a split of the trip so we've already met my expectations. Anything else is a bonus. Extremely pleased with the start of the season considering the team is missing two of it's top defensemen, haven't played a home game, and have played games in three different countries.
Let's get two more tonight, LGR!

No such thing. They are a decent young team.
I can see Biron going tommorow.

Haha Cory Potter in their top4
their offense is very talented but their defense is bad and I expect the rangers to be able to get offense

Because of that whole situation last year. Avery didn't suckerpunch him, when he and others claimed he did (even Christensen, who wasn't even looking and who I hoped was cut off the team after that).
