I'm going. Desjardins sections too.

At least if they lose I can drown myself in unlimited ice cream and smoked meat.

Does the guy who looks like Ron Fournier still work at the hot dog counter?

(no kidding - there's a guy looking just like le prophète working on the Desjardins floor)

1-0 Habs, unless Connolly dresses, than it's 1-1

We're making predictions about injuries during the game right?

Make sure to stock up on smoke meat by the second period. After that, they're all gone and they don't make more.

Habs win 3-1.

4-0 leaf. All eyes on Martin for this game -- if our players won't deliver, they don't want to play for him. Are there others who could accept a loss if it forces a fresh culture and new direction for our team?

Accept? I thinks it actually closer to hoping.

The team as it stands has zero chance to win the Cup

I don't buy this ******** that they stopped playing for the coach. Why did they dominate Buffalo the game before? Martin is just an awful motivator and when they play on the road its hard to get up for. Thats my guess anyways.

Agreed.

Habs have no problem scoring goals tonight just like last Saturday and Price has a good game tonight. 5-2 Habs.

I'm feeling a Buffalo type of game, which we will win in OT.

3-2 Montreal

Some other interesting games include:

Detroit (5-0-0) vs Washington (6-0-0) One team will come out perfect still.
Columbus (0-6-1) -11 goal differential vs Ottawa (2-5-0) -11 goal differential
Nashville (2-3-1) vs Calgary (2-3-1) One team will push ahead of the other

Anyone care to make some predictions?

I think Washington will beat Detroit.
Columbus will beat Ottawa
Nashville will beat Calgary

All in regulation.

I'm probably wrong but the habs beat the leafs the last game of last season and then lost the first game of this season, could be off but I think he predicts a loss?

5-1 Toronto, lets make this the last game Mr Potato Head has behind the bench please.
I'd actually be thrilled if Mr Potato Head (Gainey) was our coach by comparison to this. We finally have the tools to be a team like Philly or even Washington. Not in the high end talent but with Price we could easily be over the top. Our D is questionable right now but if Markov comes back it will be fine if he does remain healthy. That said our offense should be exploding and I don't just mean Pacioretty and Plekanec the two most talented offensive players on the team. The rest of the team needs to play offensive hockey for crying out loud.

Their system doesn't work for this team. I figured Martin would at least adapt... we have 3 lines capable of scoring and are practically getting shutout on a nightly basis. Our special teams have looked crap. They should hire Muller and just give him an overpayment at this point with the promise that he will be the next head coach. I don't care if he's a rookie, when he was here the players played better than this.
