Didn't realize it was five rounds. They would have won an NHL shootout.

And they played well against a team that clobbered them in the opening.

Yep, and they showed nice resiliency coming back twice.

I had just finished watching the Devils/Sharks shootout, so I still had three in my head as well. I cheered when Tropp scored, then wondered why no one was pouring onto the ice to hug him. Then I booed when I realized AHL is different...

Anyone going to the game on Sunday?
I'm still trying to decide since it's kind of a trip for me (same goes for Buffalo or pretty much anywhere useful though).

That would be 6 points in 6 games now...

Looking at the AHL rookie scorers, Buffalo was in the mix for Miele and Harry Zolnierczyk as well. Ah well....

I won tickets and took my boys to the game last night.

I liked what I saw from McNabb, especially on the PK.

Kassian was playing too much of a perimeter game for me and seemed like he was afraid to hit anyone because he might get suspended. But, his vision and playmaking ability impressed me.

Biega looked tiny. But he and Brennan looked pretty cool, calm, and collected on the back end.

Tropp with a couple of goals from going to dirty areas.

This team doesn't have the high end skill like the lockout year crew did. But, they are a lunch pail and hard hat crew, for sure.

I was looking forward to watching this game but my brother's playoff football game was last night. Glad to see they clawed back against a team that embarrassed them a couple weeks ago.
