I would be patient. Philly's got a ton of depth that could hurt Read from time to time.

but Read had 4 points in that Ottawa game, it's hard to pass on a guy like that.

You take something like that into consideration, you don't bet your life savings on it. You don't drop a 1st liner on a good team, for a 2nd, 3rd or 4th liner on a good team after one game. I don't care if he scores 5 goals and played goaltender in the third when both goalies got hurt.

Ridiculous. I have never heard of Matt Read before the Ottawa game which I was at. I still didn't know his name until I read the boxscore. Havlat is a good player on a good team. Keep him.

One thing about fantasy hocky is: "If it looks to good to be true it usually is, also if it looks to bad to be true, it usually is" Take that into consideration

You don't trade a rookie who has only played a handful of games for a proven scorer like Havlat.

This.

Read has definitively been a surprise (though Flyers fan were already excited about him), but let's not forget Philly started hot and they have a lot of room to play around with their forward depth, whereas Havlat is pretty much a lock to keep getting top minutes and is a proven scorer.
