Its gonna be lonely at the bottom of the standings until Markov gets back. We need a top 4 d-man STAT. And no Markov won't be enough. You have #5-6 guys playing in your top 4.

Sorry, but if you want to be an NHL #1 you can't give up 5 goals to this freaking team. Maybe to Detroit, Washington or Pittsburgh but not a team that doesn't even have 5 top 5 forwards.

It's not all on Price...but the last 2 Saturdays we have scored 9 goals and lost both games. If you lose to Yonas F%^&ing Gustavsson you have a serious problem.

Seriously, do you think guys Hal Gill would crack our AHL blueline?

1 thing is for sure, I would take Henry over him any days of the week..

Gill is by far the worst defenseman of that blueline which one is probably the worst in the league right now..

They deserved to lose anyway.
The way they played the last 3 minutes of the 3rd was beyond ridiculous. They didn't have the puck for more than 2 seconds.

Defense is the problem.

beauty goal by Grabovski... Gainey's genius keeps on giving, and giving and giving...

But WTF JM, how do you not understand that Gill, as much of a warrior as he is, IS NOT SUITED FOR 4 on 4???

all 5 of the other Dmen in the lineup are excellent skaters, and all are better puck handlers than Gill... how does a coach with that much experience not figure out such an obvious connection.

that's, imo, a perfect reflection of his weakness as a coach... to stuck in the past, not able/willing to adjust his beliefs/instincts/ideas to today's NHL.

it may be late in the game, it may be overtime, but given the difference in space (and as a result the impact of a player's personal skill set on his effectivness), you need to play guys that can move, Gill is NOT that kind of player, so should have his butt glued to the bench unless absolutely necessary.

At least we found ourselves a 2nd line center in Eller. Now send Gomez to Hamilton.

I don't understand how gill is still in the nhl, every game people praise this slow disaster. I guess we should be happy to get even one point the leafs hit the post like 4 ****ing times!

JM has to go and we need to get a defense that doesn't consist of ****.

Doesn't help that the Refs basically gave the Leafs the game as well. Their tying goal should have been whistled down. The puck hit the netting before hitting the ice and they scored

Doesn't really excuse us playing terrible though... And getting so many stupid penalties and 2 too many men on the ice? What the ****.

It's years the only reason we are winning games and playoff series is our goalies, time management wakes up and actually have some game breakers
