And here I was hoping for a great sports day in Mtl. First the Als blow a lead and now the Habs lose to the Leafs. Anybody got cyanide pills?

On the bright side, Lars Eller is my pick for the best player on the ice tonight. Guy's a stud.

Sorry, but if you want to be an NHL #1 you can't give up 5 goals to this freaking team. Maybe to Detroit, Washington or Pittsburgh but not a team that doesn't even have 5 top 5 forwards.

It's not all on Price...but the last 2 Saturdays we have scored 9 goals and lost both games. If you lose to Yonas F%^&ing Gustavsson you have a serious problem.
did you watch the game?

We scored at least 2 really weak goals on the monster... none of leafs goals were weak on Price...

it's not about # of shots, its about scoring chances... Price made far more big saves tonight than the leafs goalies, Leafs just had that many more beauty chances.

Price is not at all the problem right now, regardless of what his SV% is.

I don't get the Markov love. The guy hasn't played in nearly 2 years. Its not going to make a difference. Thats if he ever comes back.

When you're desperately want Spacek, a guy we wanted out last year and Campoli, a guy nobody wanted September 24th, you know you have a problem. But again, minus Spacek, that D is how the organization wanted it to start the year. They KNEW Markov wouldn't be ready. So they had no problem to start with the guys they had. They realized September 25th it might not cut it, yet, Campoli is not exactly the saviour. But probably better than what we have which says a lot.

Love the feast or famine Habs. They either score none or 1, and get blown out or score 4 or 5 and get beat late or in O/T...brutal.

Yeah the refs really ****** up on that one but when things go bad that type of crap happens.. The Habs aren't getting any breaks or bounces right now.. Very frustrating to watch.

Cheers for Grabs, that was a damn nifty goal.

Martin's defensive has been solved and this is becoming increasingly evident every night. We are getting scored on by the dozen. Gill has finally lost whatever defensive stride he had for the past few years. Why he was out there four on four is beyond me. We are officially dead last... wow.

He has numerous chances to make the big save and didn't. Last Saturday is plainly cost us the game.

No reason Budaj has not seen the ice so far.

I surely hope that Spacek replaces Gill and not Weber, Diaz or Emelin. The guy is horrible

Well the others are NOT completely hopeless. And the slow one 4 on 4 keep showing that he is in that situation. But hey, let's throw the youngsters under the bus. The org. keep doing that before, will not stop doing it now. I guess we will see their potential once they leave the team. The Habs, you're favorite NHL farm team.

Eller , Akost and Moen played well tonight.
Pleks and Cammy had their moments...especially on the PK.
DD's line was awful.

Unfortunately, overall, the Defensive coverage (by the D and the F) was probably the worst I have seen in the last 3 years.
