A move has to be made in the top 9. Someone has to be traded.

Positive: Schenn, Read, Couturier, Simmonds

Negative: everyone else including coaching

Worst: defencive clusterfrank and current line selection

Silver lining: I was watching at home and did not have to pay $$ to see this.

Alarming: Huge similarity with last year flyers

Relax.....jebus. Yeah they look like trash in the last 3 games and Bryz is looking pedestrian but no need to panic. These are growing pains and it's a transition year anyway. I still stand by my prediction that they will be slightly above .500 in the first half and then make a good run of it in the second half when they gel. Right now it's clear they still are trying to gain chemistry on the ice. With that being said our best players have to play better and this obviously means Bryz most of all. He's going to have to start winning some games on his own which is why we got him and he hasn't quite put it together yet.

What's funny is that, after moving our two best centers in the off-season, we have yet another clog and controversy at the center position.

Gimme a fricking break. Get some order in there. It'd be awesome to have a traditional third line center for once.

Tonight wasn't as bad as it was made out to be. Elliott impressed and there was one odd miscommunication breakdown that led to a goal. Take that goal away and it's a 3-2 game which isn't too bad.

The Flyers contnue to make any back up look like Vezina winners.

I'm sure Briere will move to wing the older he gets.

But Bob should get the nod for next game...definitely.

fire Lavi. his line changing has destroyed us and he seems scared since he changes lines whenever we do bad. Same thing last year too.

Go back to what worked for lines:

JVR-Giroux-Jagr
Simmonds-Briere-Voracek
Schenn-Couturier-Read
Hartnell-Talbot-Nodl

Switch Schenn and Couturier when need be, but seriously, this is basically what the lines should be. If not, then send Schenn back down and go back to the lines that actually won us games, which was:

JVR-Giroux-Jagr
Simmonds-Briere-Voracek
Hartnell-Couturier-Read
Rinaldo-Talbot-Nodl

Finding line chemistry isn't easy though. Especially if you do have to switch lines...and if we fire Lavi who the **** are we gonna hire? No more fire Lavi talk.

Schenn was the best forward with Simmonds tonight IMO. I don't see how you send Schenn back down.

I like those first set of lines; it would certainly be worth a try. Couturier should be on a scoring line; if Hartnell can't be moved before the next game, then stick him on the 4th line where he will hold the hall of shame title for the highest paid 4th liner in NHL history!

i would like to try briere and jagr together, but it would suck defensively.

Tocchet probably tried his best to make sure the goalie received no blame. "H- He uh H-he had a bad game an-an-a-and you can't blame him."

Schenn did play well tonight on a line with Briere.

Maybe try:

JVR - Giroux - Jagr
Briere - Schenn - Simmonds
Read - Couturier - Voracek
Hartnell - Talbot - Nodl

The 2nd line was what tonight was. It was the best line overall IMO.
