I'd like to share a few thoughts about the win:

I have a man crush on Smid, what a player.

Correy Potter. Enough said.

Whitney is looking much better out there.

I know its only 7 games in, but Khabbi looks fantastic. Leading the NHL in GAA and SV %

And man is it satisfying to have a PK that actually works. And works well I might add.

Renney seems to have learned his lesson. Solid third period.

Top line looked good again. As did the rest of the lines.

Eberle will never score another goal in the NHL, He'll end the season with no goals and 57 assists.

Solid win!!

There is something special brewing in Edmonton. The chemistry between all the individual lines is apparent, the D played very well, and the breakouts were considerably better than I have witnessed the last couple of seasons. RNH is the real deal. This kid is only going to be great. I was completely impressed tonight by this team, and I haven't typed that in a long time.

NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGE

Man, Eberle could have 7 goals this year. Not worried about him because he's in the right places offensively, but I give it two more games before he calls in a witch doctor.

The Nuge was great as usual, Potter and Whitney were great as well and Khabby was awesome too.

We've pretty much outplayed every team we've played this year, IMO. we just need to do a little bit better when it comes to the 3rd period especially late in the 3rd period.

I am loving Khabby's play! So awesome to see him play with confidence. I knew he would bounce backthis year! You deserve it Khabby, some huge saves tonight.

Also, besides the goal......Corey Potter is a gem. I am loving his play this season. I hope he is an Oiler for awhile. Also enjoying the skating and poise of Barker. I watched him a lot tonight and he is gaining confidence every game.

Up front, Horcoff and Belanger deserve props. Both guys always come back on defense. Kudos.

Also, what can you say about the kid line? Love them! Great win Oilers!

Your team looks great and could EASILY have 2 more wins.

Good for the people of Edmonton.

If the defense and goaltending keeps this up all year, we have a team and a half.

Especially if the offense gets in full swing also.

Umm, Khabby has 2 years left, not 1.

Lol@Khabi's interview right now.

When asked about Gaborik's chance, he answered "I was waiting all night for him to get a chance, and when I stopped him, I was like "wow cool"". He's drunk

Oh god... please no.

It's good to see Renney is teaching defense first though. Hopefully in a few years we don't just have offensive stars, but complete players.

I'm glad for Khabi so far. The guy lost a bit of respect from most fans (including myself) in the last couple years. He already has his cup but I'd like to see him continue to redeem himself and close out his career in style.

Horcoff is impressing the hell out of me after a rough preseason. Same with Khabby.

Everyone seems to be buying in on D now here at Game 7 of the season. And I think in turn, Khabby plays better because of that. I know Dubie on his backside helps too but he's been frustrated with the lack of help back there in previous years.

Might be time for Linus to head back to OKC, I didn't miss him hanging on to the puck then giving it away all night, tonight. They didn't get a point tonight but I thought Belanger, Gagner, Paajarvi were great tonight.

Good solid win by a team that is adjusting to the system, I was concerned as how the slowness of our D was exposed at times, need to have a solid game plan when we come up against a fast team, otherwise teams are gonna find a way to attack that weakness. But saying that, we won baby!
