Didn't get to watch the game. How was Mike Richards fight?
It wasn't much of a fight, but he held his own, he got one good shot in ...Ott is such a tool I was hoping Richards would clock him

At least Richards extended his scoring streak to 4 straight games. Maybe he can Jack can connect again against the Devils and he can keep it alive at 5.

It's a shame Richards wasn't out there for the last bit with the empty net, would have been a Gordie Howe hattrick.

But it 's a long season and he averages 3 or 4 fights a year. ..maybe next time.

It was too bad Kopitar's point streak was broken tonight, but that was one of the most entertaining 1-0 non-playoffs games I've seen. Nothing else needs to be said about Quick.

The real question is: How are we going to hypnotize Johnson so that he thinks Doughty is permanently injured?

I like what Scuds had to say about JJ's not trying to do something spectacular every shift. Staying within himself. I really think the guy's growing up. Great win, but I'm looking forward to the Kings handling the puck better. Might go a long way toward scoring a goal or two.

We would have lost this game in year's past. One of the keys to being a top team is to win the games where you don't play that well and probably should lose.

Also, the ice was horrendous tonight. The puck was rolling on both teams, bouncing all over the place. It was particularly bad by the blue line in front of the visitors bench. 3 guys fell there in about 2 minutes, and a Dallas player took off up the ice and the puck just stopped on him while he kept going. The refs checked it out a few times tonight in different places. Not sure what the issue was, maybe one of the dehumidifiers went down.

Very few flat passes, everything was hopping. One of the reasons why so many guys shot wide tonight.

And that hit by Greene... had half our section laughing. He just creamed him.

All hail Quick. He's got nearly every Kings goaltending record at this point. Unbelievable, and he's still so young.

284 minutes since his last even strength goal allowed. Almost 5 games.

Kinda sucks that the ice is still bad.
I guess the bad ice can't be blamed on the Lakers/Clippers.

He realizes that Chick Hearn trademarked that phrase, and now he has to pay a licensing fee to say it, right?

It still looks like we need to find better chemistry offensively. We're hitting more passes now, but guys keep making different reads and passes or dump-ins keeping going to vacated areas. The good thing about this is that we're playing really well despite it. When all the forwards on the top 2 lines really get in sync with each other, we're going to be scary good.

WOW! Just finished watching the game... WOW... HOLY ****ING **** WOW!

My heart is racing, I thought I was going to have a heart attack and die in those final minutes. That game was insane! Easily one of the most entertaining games I have ever seen the Kings play.

First line. We have one. It's official. I thought Smyth-Kopitar-Williams was a first line, I was wrong, because it had been so long since the Kings had actually had one. THIS is the first line we have been waiting for. No question. Better come up with a name for it because that's the line.

Penner is looking much better, I don't think I have seen him skate that hard, ever. The second line is much better and creating chances.

We are finally a complete team. Our depth is solid and controlling play, the veterans help so much. Boy, we are looking good, even with some of the sloppy play tonight, we are looking very good.

Voynov is looking great. The kid is beyond ready. I fully expect him to be running the second unit next season and the Johnson-Doughty pairing to be in full effect.

Quick. GOD. What's the difference? There is none. He deserves this record, and I think with this performance he slammed the door shut in Bernier's face, not that it wasn't already about completely closed, but I think it will really take a miracle now for Bernier. It's a long season, and still got a postseason to advance in, but it is about time to accept the fact that Quick is here to stay.

I was really mad at Greene to start the game, the longer it went on the more I lightened up about him. When he clotheslined Robidas, that certainly added a few points for him in my book, but I still get very nervous with him on the ice. He is turning into the scapegoat and giving off that Gauthier/Jones like aura around him.

Also, what was with the ice? Seemed like everyone was slipping and falling on both ends of the rink the entire game. Seemed odd, I figured it would have been better with basketball out of sight and mind, but it seemed worse. Any recent events responsible for the ice?

Overall. I am very proud of our Kings right now. They are looking like top contenders. They look like other dominant teams that know how to win each and every night, and if they lose they rapidly correct it and get back to winning. The ultimate test for this team will be to see if they can maintain that consistency throughout the entire season like a Detroit or a Washington team does. GO KINGS!

Also, have to give props to Jack Johnson... 3 game winning goals in 7 games. He is on fire and carrying the blue line's production.

My guess is Kopi.

Man what a great game. Quick is playing lights out hockey right now. Beyond Beast mode.

John Jackson looks very composed and is playing some smart hockey, hope he keeps it up when DD returns.

Chops is looking better each game, and words can't describe how happy that we got the right Richards.

This team is looking great, so excite!!!

#1 in the league in goals against, but out of all the teams that currently qualify for the playoffs we are second to last. I like what I see immensely, but we need more consistent results on the scoresheet still.
