Wow, Interesting. Poor Marco.

I would have loved to have Booth, but his salary is disgusting.

Still better than Tim Conolly`s

It`s always a good day when I can take a shot at MLSE/Hab organizations

Dale Tallon makes absolutely no sense to me

I think it's a good trade for both teams. It's a rich team/poor team trade.

Florida doesn't have the resources to pay Reinprecht to play in the minors. Booth may or may not bounce back this year from the concussions. Florida gets two roster players whose contracts are both up this year. So Florida clears long-term money and Vancouver can afford to pay Reinprecht. Plus, Vancouver can afford to go slow with Booth. If he is still hurting or is re-injured, Vancouver can easily shut him down for a month or two and not fall out of the playoffs. On top of that, the Canucks get their own 3rd back to be free to offer sheet (or at least have the threat of an offer sheet).

Watch how Booth will play in Vancouver, and then get back to us on this one.

I think there is a chance Samuelsson could stay if he stays healthy and plays well. But I won't hold my breath.

Tallon is setting himself up for the summer.

Personally I think it's a good move on his part.

Mark me down as unimpressed. I think Tallon lucked out in Chicago. I'll go on the record right now as saying this guy won't survive in Florida. Just not liking his blueprint to be honest.

It will be interesting to see. But I am not expecting much from Booth soon...the Canucks can afford to go slow with Booth. It might be a good things to shut him down for a month or two.
