Rumor has it that a committee is getting together to plan a road trip to watch the Nashville Predators play the Florida Panthers in March 2012.
Possible plans for traveling by bus (probably no more than $100):
* Depart Nashville the Thursday evening and arrive in Florida by noon on Friday.
* Have Friday afternoon and all day Saturday for sightseeing, etc.
* Watch the game Saturday night.
* Leave after the game Saturday and arrive back in Nashville Sunday morning.
Hotel Reservations: Someone will be checking this out for Friday night.
Tickets for game: Someone is already checking on this. Looks like tickets can range from $30 each (upper bowl) to $55 each (lower bowl).
There is also a rumor that a local radio show "might" have something to do with this little adventure.
For those interested, please let me know your email address via a PM and we can send more details when they come up.
One bus could probably be filled fairly quickly but rumor has it we'd like at least 2 bus loads of fans.
Thank you for your input Codey but this is about the Florida road trip.
While I appreciate the fact that your group is going to Milwaukee, let's keep this thread on the Florida subject.
Thanks and have a fantastic time visiting the Admirals.
Seeing as this is just a "rumor" and you can't come with anything confirmed with full details (yet)........Thanks for the heads up on your set in stone non-rumored confirmed with full details trip, Codey. We are considering going on one of the 303 trips and have heard they are a blast.
It's a rumor simply because we are trying to ascertain any interest to see if it could/should go any further.
I can see that posting asking for any interest is a total waste of time.
Board Mods - please close this thread.
Well if you just came out and said, "Anyone interested in following the team to Miami in the spring," would have come across much better than a "rumor." You didn't ask that. It's all in how it was said. I would be interested in a trip to Florida to watch a game. Get me a final price that it would cost and I could tell you yea or nay.
Keep in mind that there's a thin line between gauging interest and advertising/promoting for a for-profit entity.
If/when concrete details are available, send a PM to one of the Preds mods to see if it passes the advertising sniff test. We do allow information that board members would find of interest to be posted however.
