I am sure Grabo would take a discount for the team, he loves it here as does his wife.

He's a must for the team going forward.

Leafs only have 14.25m capspace next year. They need to re-sign Kulemin, Grabovski, Liles, Franson (or another #7 defenseman), another forward (Frattin/Dupuis/Rosehill all FAs) and a backup goalie.

Burke's negotiations with Grabo and Kulemin are going to be vital to keeping this team together.

Those contracts having cap spaces much, much closer to the 4m/year mark than the 5m/year mark is necessary, or somebody will have to be traded/waived.

Liles is replaced by Gardiner / Blacker, Frattin will be cheap, leaves more then you think. Plus cap might go up depending on the new CBA. It helps having good young guys to fill out your roster.

5 million, 4 years. Can't see him getting anything less since Connolly got paid 4.5 million a season... so can you blame him? 5 million a season if he produces 30 goals 60 points is fair.
