Pronger had the same bleeping reaction as Bernie Parent, that is truly frightening.

People really have to learn to stop being so biased... wasn't that a bad turnover by Timonen or Schenn? It really wasn't Walkers fault there on that goal. And Shelley didnt even touch Gus... horrible call

I sincerely hope that dude that was at least under 18 who was digging on Schenn's 14 year old sister.

From what I saw of the goal, didn't Walker pretty much redirect the puck to Kessel?

I wasn't alive for Bernie...my first thought was that it looked like Lappy when he thought his eye was gone.

Given the speed that Pronger got off the ice, and the noises he was making, I'd be shocked if it wasnt an eye injury.

Imagine if you got caught in the eye with a hockey stick. How would you react? I'd drop everything, clutch my eye and get the hell off the ice.

Now imagine if you got hit in the cheek with a hockey stick. Would you react the same way?

Honestly, I've never had this feeling seeing a player get injured before. I dont know what is making this injury seem so ominous to me, but as soon as I saw it, I had a gut feeling that something awful was happening. I really hope I'm wrong, but I really dont think I am.

Leaf Fan here, seeing Jagr do the salute after splitting our D was a thing of beauty. Glad he did it.

You may well be correct on it being an eye injury, but what purpose does it serve making blind (certainly no pun intended) accusations about the severity of the injury?

Why not call every player who looks concussed brain dead, I mean it's a possibility?

Argh.

Checking in from work... based on your reactions from the stick to Pronger's face, I'm not expecting any good news.

I dont think he directed it so to say but it did bounce off him or someone else. Bad bounce that went their way..the turnover by Schenn was what made the play

Oh God please, please don't let that have been an eye injury for Pronger. That'd be absolutely horrible, especially since it was a flipping freak accident.

I haven't really noticed any blind accusations about the severity, I know I certainly didn't make any. But, could you really think he just got nicked in the eye with the screams and falling to his knees he exhibited?
