Toronto Fan here...

Came to ask about Pronger when I saw this comment. Need to say...

I have never been a big fan JVR. He had one GREAT playoff series and the next thing you know the team is trading Richards and Carter. He was never great before that series. Never great since. This year he has been average at best.

NOT a fan.

**

Any word on Pronger?

Hate to see his career ended like that. His screams were SCARY!!!

Hope he is okay.

I like this lineup.

Should keep this lineup together until its time to shake things up.

Bob looks excellent ! but our club better learn how to clear the puck or we will have a long season ! We clear to the middle too often.

I don't really see a problem with what he said seeing as it was towards other flyer fans.

3 posts and you wasted one with this. Good job.........

JVR hit the post earlier, He fanned on a wide open net and also had a rush that he almost scored on. He's just snake-bitten. He will get it together. Funny thing is, if he scores on any of them you would all be saying what a great game he's having.

QFT... do other teams have to deal with fans like that?

We don't even know the severity of the injury aside from a few people saying he is alright, which we all know can't be taken seriously. I'm surprised they didnt say he was out with an upper body injury.

I didnt really see the suggested humour in the post either....

Did I just imagine that when Hartnell was being interviewed by Coatesy, he said, "they're swinging their sticks like crazy, these little -- and then either he caught himself or it got bleeped, and Coatesy goes "we're gonna get a penalty for that" or something to that effect?

I agree JVR has looked good out there.. also Shelley haha but seriously he has. People forget that JVR is just 22 and has plenty nd plenty of room to improve. I think people see Giroux produce like he does and wants JVR to perform like him...two different players though
