Another awful game, another couple of lucky points.

I'm sure we're going to really light it up back at MSG

Getting tired of seeing Boyle put out there for every offensive zone draw. It makes me lose any hope of scoring every time.

BTW, more important poll:

Who has dreamier eyes, Dan Girardi or Marty Biron?

trying to spin a positive out of the last 4 performances.......

we're without our top 2 D-men, and yet the D hasn't looked too bad at all. some pretty good filling in going on from MDZ, Erixon, Wowy, Emmy. DG and McD obviously stellar.

The overall defensive game hasn't been ****. Decent enough to support Lundqivst and Biron. It's not like they're full of holes. They're lacking the ability to gain the puck.

The Canucks game there's an argument, but even then, the defense was sound.

When we start on offense, we forget how to keep possession. And we're right back on the defensive side of the puck.

A win is a win. Have to love that the Rangers have probably the best back-up in the league in Biron.

This team is driving me insane.

The Lundqvist: Biron was showing why he's an excellent backup, what a great game by him. He made some huge kick saves.

The Good: We scored 2 goals on the PP. Don't ask how.

The Bad: We still suck. Very, very much, in pretty much all aspects of the game. We didn't deserve that win - again - with a brutally awful performance - again.

The Redden: It feels we won this game despite of Torts, certainly not because of. That can't continue. His in game decision making is making me cringe, he makes the weirdest benchings, juggles the lines in combinations like he's drunk and... wait, is he drunk?

Yet another absolutely brutal effort. Didn't deserve 1 point, let alone 2. Tough to watch and I sure hope there aren't a lot of smiles in the locker room.

I voted for Biron and Danny G. Dubi had his best game thus far but that's not saying much. The only other positive to take is that the PP actually moved the puck really well.

Overall I cant complain when after our start to the season, then looking at this Canadian road trip we are now 3-2-2. We have been on the road for over a month now, its time to come home. MSG here we come...

Don't be too optimistic about it. They've been so lucky, it's not even funny. And please don't expect a huge change on Thursday home opener. We will see the same crap we saw on the road. Mark my words.

ThisYearsModel - when I pointed out the fact the Rangers were often a step behind, and asked why they could not instead be a step ahead, you recited their overseas itinerary.

Sorry, that's not a reason. They had the same hesitancy and lack of intensity early in the Euro adventure. If they were tired that early in, it would be pretty bad.
No, there is some other problem. They had their legs tonight, they were not worn out.

The fact that we went 3-1 on this road trip is nothing short of miraculous.

It's becoming more and more apparent that we can only survive so long without Staal (as well as Sauer, but I'm hoping he'll be back next game). Eminger and Woywitka are becoming more exposed as each game goes on... they were on the ice for the Jets' neverending shift that felt like they had a PK.

Bright spots, PP finally starting to look good. Dubi and Cally are playing better. Feds and Biron were monsters.

Biron was good on the score board, but wasn't really tested was he?

went with Biron, Dubi, and Boyle...I thought Dubi was our best player tonight hands down.

Rangers actually weren't as bad as the stats indicate tonight. there were 2 extreme pressure situations that probably made it seem a whole lot uglier than it really was. I wonder how many attempted shots on goal they had VS the Jets...it seemed like everything they put towards the net was on goal, and we missed a whole hell of a lot.

On TSN last game they said "Feds is the heart and soul of the team" a semi quote from Torts. He truly is a diamond in the ruff.

7 Games and 14 GA is not too shabby. Especially without Staal/Sauer. This also has to do with why we have less offensive possessions. Most offense starts from the defensive zone.

I think Del Zotto, McD, and Girardi have been great this year.

The Good: 2 Power play goals, Biron's play, and the fact that they blocked a lot of shots in this game. I know they were out played, but in trying to find a silver lining, I feel it's a good sign that maybe they're finding their game.

The Bad: Were GROSSLY outplayed.

The Redden: That 2 minutes when they were pinned in our own freaking zone, and the team looked like it was about collapse on the ice and die!!

Bright side: 3-2-2 record after a brutal first month on the road, cannot WAIT for the freaking home opener!
