GDT CBJ vs Detroit | 10/25 7PM EDT | Epic Fail Curse Breaker Part II
The good news is that the 2 goal curse was broken last game. The BAD news is that the real curse was not broken. I have picked some select videos that will describe the last 8 games more accurately than words.
The CBJ season description to date:
Some of you find it painful to watch the Jackets play so I have a musical alternative:
(My sincere apologies to the memory of Minnie Riperton
Here is a theatre alternative [British Spelling on purpose]
Here is what I hope I will see:
That is all. PS. I am having trouble seeing the youtube, but it could just be my OS. Oh and I forgot the date of the thread title on purpose

It's gonna look like a Detroit home game. Hopefully Wiz injects some life into the D and the team gets its first win of the season.
All I know is someone needs to hold Bertuzzi accountable for repeatedly bashing Russell's head into the glass toward the end of last week's game. What a ******bag. Will anyone actually do it? Doubtful.
I think it will be a slightly one sided game for either Detroit or Columbus. Detroit is coming off their worst game this season and will either rebound big or Conklin will blow it again.
4-1 Wings if Conklin plays alright.
3-0 Jackets if he's not playing well

How exactly does conklin determine whether or not the Wings score 4 as opposed to 0?
The Wiz is finally back! This is our turning point. Win #1 is....not tonight, we're gonna get killed.
But it will be the last game of Scott Arniel tonight, maybe after 10 games, but I'm feeling without a win tonight, he's out.
Nope. 4 games this week means no coaching change until there's a break of more than 2 days.
After the Ducks game would be the most logical time to make the move. If they are still winless or even if they only have a single win, I wouldn't be surprised to see a move at that point.
Maybe I'm just inattentive but wth happened to Jeff Carter? All I recall is he had a hairline fracture of the foot, and was day-to-day. Now it's like he's dropped off the ****ing planet. Call me paranoid but I find something very shady about the lack of progress reports. Makes me think either management has already thrown in the towel on this season and is playing it ultra-conservative with his foot because theyre in no rush... or that more is going on with Carter than just his foot.

I don't think they're doing that. That would mean they are hanging Arniel out to dry every night...

Then maybe it's even worse, and Jeff's foot is more screwed up then they're letting on, and they're just delaying the announcement that he's out 4-6 or something... Nothing can go right for this team, everything MUST go wrong.
CBJ break the slide and win, one of the cheerleaders on this board posts a "Turning point" type thread questioning why we were all down on them and how this is the beginning of a turn around.
CBJ will eek out a .500 or better record for a few weeks, Rug will be firmly pulled out again by mid december and the team limps along until the end of the season.

Your apparent disdain for this possibility suggests you don't believe turnabout is fair play.

I have to pick up disused closet doors from my place in Fairborn and take them to Zanesville for a project at my parents' house. Nationwide is on the way home.
I hope to see my first live win against the Wings tonight, which is on my hockey fan bucket list. Both times I've gone have been one-goal, entertaining games. We'll see.
I may wear my autographed old Third jersey tonight. If they win, my 2010-acquired road jersey is cursed.

Attendance-wise? Typically, with the influx of fans wanting to see Detroit, traveling Red Wing fans, and the closet Red Wing fans that wear Union Blue the rest of the season draws a big crowd. Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and sometimes Washington draw big visiting crowds to go along with the CBJ fans as well.
Given the start to this season and the number of tickets available, I have a bad feeling Nationwide could look like a Joe Louis annex tonight.
