Our second line sucks. Desharnais is the leading scorer of that line and even I'm unimpressed with him. On that note, I don't think he's been the worst player and I still think he's going to be a great player, he's just been disappointing to start the year... like pretty much every player not named Eller, Kostitsyn, Pacioretty, Weber, and Diaz. Emelin, Gorges, and Budaj to lesser extents.
"Martin's To do list & thoughts
-Play Darche more. Future superstar
-Pretend I didn't ear any rumors about fans wanting me fired with those huge ****ing ears of mine. Yeah right.
-Emelin talks with kostitsyn, they must be friends. Less ice time for him.
-Eller isn't as good as darche, no PP time.
-Moen is a semi god, deserves to be on the first line
-Nice giveaway by Gill, still the best shutdown defensman we ever had
-Maybe I should try to look like a genius and play all my defensmen as 4th line forwards. Brilliant."
The rest was filled with random drawings of Darche and him holding hands on the beach with little birds shaped like "M's" in the sky.
The Habs lines look awful. Now compare them to the Flyers lines and see why our coach is an idiot who doesnt get that each player has a certain role he would work best at.
Martin really is too obsessed over balancing our lines. Its one thing to do it when things are going well, but in a slump?
Eller has been amazing the last two games and he is on the third line with Darche? Pleks is our best center and he is with Moen? Why is DD with two scoring wingers over those two?
I actually like those lines for this game. Let Pleks' line shutdown Giroux's line, and Eller's line should go head to head with Briere's line. Get Cammalleri/Desh/Cole to face the 3rd or 4th line and they'll pull out a win. No Pronger means the Flyers' have a huge hole on defence. Turn around time.

With that said, I wouldn't even mind Moen with Eller and AK since they have been great together and were great last season as well. Why take apart our best trio?
Everyone expects us to get killed so we're obviously going to win. That's just how the Habs role.
Obviously I hope that the Habs will win but I would suggest that if we are expected to be killed by the Flyers then with the way we roll, we will outplay them completely, dominate the game and then snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by losing 0-1 or 1-2. Just saying, you know...?
This is an odd numbered game of the season so I guess AK gets PP time tonight and then gets none in the 1st game against the Bruins (even numbered game of the season). That seems to be how it goes for him.

What you're saying is Bryz will stone us? Realistic.
