TSN 990: Tony Marinaro with Georges Laraque - WOW!!!

Guy's, tune into TSN 990 a.s.a.p.

Tony Marinaro is in the studio with Georges Laraque right now and he has been since about 10:30 AM, he basically told it as it is about the Habs organization and said the following:

- Carbonneau never talked to him, listened to him and other players, he said when players would go talk to him he would be watching TV or looking at online blogs, forums and RDS.ca to see what fans are saying about him and the team.

- Gainey bought his contract out and did not tell him anything, he found out on TV at the TSN 900 studio while watching RDS and TSN, and he stated that his agent was threatened with legal action if Georges spoke to media about anything.

- Subban is a nice, down to earth and very humble person at heart and he thinks that people want to get into his "kitchen" because of negativity and jelousy.

This is just the tip of the iceberg! They talked about more and are still on air.

Tune into TSN 900 and Tony Marinaro a.s.a.p.

Apparently when we signed Laraque, we also signed his big mouth to a lifetime contract. So sick of him popping up with his "insider info" every time something goes wrong with the Habs.

Who gives a **** what a coach who no longer works for the organization did or didn't do 3 years ago? What use does it serve besides stirring the pot? Jesus.

So BGL is a bitter ex player...what else is new?

Pretty hard for the coach to want to listen to you when you show up out of shape and won't do your job(enforce and protect teammates).

Tony should ask him how he feels about the fact that he signed a contact knowing full well that he had no intention of living up to it. How does he feel about letting down his teammates and the fans that he supposedly cares so much about? How does he feel about showing up to camp out of shape and consistently being out of shape which let to injuries the entire time he was here?

Laraque needs to shut up. He was a joke of a player when he was here and he let a lot of people down. For a guy who acts like he cares so much about the team, he certainly did not show it when he was here. Couldn't even stay in shape to play hockey in Montreal.

Everyone is missing the point... Carbonneau listened to the delusional posters around here and that is why he got fired!

This isn't news worthy it's just Georges flapping his mouth off again as usual.

The only reason he signed with the habs was to get endorsement deals and to be made into a media personality. It wasn't to play hockey, or fight. He only did staged fights and never defended a teammate.

Then he has the audacity to come out and say he never liked fighting etc? Our team paid you 1.5 million a season, in your home town to defend your teammates. Regardless of if you like fighting, regardless of if the coach was Carbonneau, regardless of if you liked the team or any of that other ********.

The guy is SUCH a sellout, he's a **** stain on the underwear of the habs organization and a total embarrassment to this province let alone this team. He should stop embarrassing himself, take his little tech savvy checks and move far away from hockey the sport we all know he doesn't even like cause of fighting, and just stop flapping his mouth off on the subject.

The guy is an embarrassment. He signed here purely to use the team like I mentioned, for money, for fame, for endorsements. Then he wonders why Gainey did it the way he did LOL

Don't kill the messanger boys! I am just delivering the message and what he is saying is all true, but he is burning a lot of bridges by doing so.

Please dude, if that were the case he'd be able to stick to a line for more than 5 minutes. Let alone make a good line in the first place

Thats exactly why they're doing it, and we can be sure that in the next few days, a lot of people are going to do likewise.
Thats the problem with Montreal, way too many people trying to catch some attention around the team.

I could make some jokes and comments about that kind of behaviour, but that would be inappropriate.

And Guy Carbonneau, Laraque's buyout situation, etc are relevant to our current situation, how?

say what you will about BGL, and I certainly am not a big fan of his, but once again, a former player describing actions by Gainey that seriously call into question the "class" aura that has shielded him from reasonable scrutiny over the years.

BGL, Tanguay, Don Hay, Carbo, Begin... are all these guys just "sore losers" or "big mouths", or could there be something to the repeated claims that, under Gainey, people where not treated with class/respect on their way out of town?

where there is smoke...

He already said that last night on "Le Match".

Such a cry-baby and so unprofessional.

Please you make it sound like he is a god almost and everything he says is the absolute truth. Sounds more like a bitter ex-player then anything. I take anything he says with a grain of salt.

Laraque, the guy I was so proud to see in Montreal, which turned out to be a nightmare.

If he had done the job he was asked for, people would still like him and listen to what he had to say.

What a loser.
