Timonen will be playing a ton of minutes over the next few weeks.
The forward lines are still not all meshing well. It seems like we can only get one very good line per night. Hartnell played well with Giroux and Jagr, so I bet that trio will stick together. I don't like Read at center, though. His face-off percentage was terrible last game. I'd like to see this:
Shelley can go back to the press box. He wasn't bad last game, but he isn't needed against a small team with no real heavyweights (as far as I remember).
I'm assuming Bryzgalov will be back in the net tonight. Here's to a redeeming performance. Maybe some pressure from Bobrovsky will motivate Bryz.
Montreal fans aren't to confident in their squad...

i cant see Lilja & Walker being paired up together... no way, too much suck
each of them will be paired with Mez & Carle
Interesting question--almost philosophical: Is it better to endure the greatest level of suck for 12-14 minutes, or spread that suck out over 35-40 minutes?
Maybe we can do this NHL12 style--you know, play the top two pairings to death, then get in a fight to reenergize the whole line-up.
Pacioretty has a broken neck: Goes to see a movie 4 days later
Pacioretty has Ligament damage in his wrist. He's a game time decision tonight.
What is this ****? Wrestling? It's their choice, either the medical staff is run by a senile ol' coot or Recchi was right, they embellish their injury reports for cheap motivational sentimentality.
Should be a heck of a game tonight,,,,,,,Hopefully if Price plays he won't stand on his head like he did against us last year.....He stole one from us last year with an amazing performance...

**** I hate this organization.
It was a partially torn ligament. If he can grip the stick and shoot while taking the pain, he can play.

I understand your hate. But that franchise is rich in hockey tradition and there is nothing better than beating them.
Rock 'em. Sock 'em. Smash 'em. Outscore 'em, outclass 'em, outgun 'em, out-hit 'em, aaaahhh, just knock 'em out every which way. Knock 'em down a peg, take 'em down a notch, knock their season even lower.
I've always liked both Pronger and Jagr (big time), and Hextall is my all-time favourite goalie.
I'm more worried about tommorows game, if we lose to the Jets work will be unbearable on Friday for me ! Better win them both .
I'm in the reverse situation geographically, Benny.
Larry and CSKA have good points: Flyers have to maintain a high intensity level against a seemingly inferior opponent and not play down to their level. Pressure their D, and good scoring chances should emerge. Price has been better than his GAA shows, but he has received little D support.
