Like 1995? I think not...

Great article from Philippe Cantin from La Presse for those who read french. For those who don't, he basically compares this season's woes with 19995 and 1983 - the 2 last times the club cleaned house and brought in a new GM and coach.
In a nutshell, he contends that no matter how much pressure is on the management group today, it's nothing compared to 1995 when they were months away from opening a new, much bigger building and worried about filling those seats, and 1983 when the upstart Nordiques with the Stastny bros. were the most popular ticket in the province.

This is the guy who first predicted the cup for Montreal!
Looks like a Nordiques fan to me more then a Hab's fan.

Aboslutely, the Nordique's leaving the province hurt Montreal's competitiveness. The Habs started going down hill after the Nords had moved to Denver.

Yes once we lost Roy to the Nordiques because some fans were being complete jerks the habs were done. I wonder how long before Price gets driven from habs?
