Good question. I'll read the blogs tomorrow and see what's up.
Moose Jaw traded Colin Bowman to Calgary, BTW.

JT Miller looks to be hot out of the gate.
7 goals, 8 assists, 15 points in 13 games played.

wonderful work on keeping this thread up to date. it's very much appreciated.
a couple of questions for you guys more in the know.
1. Steven Fogarty - why is he playing in the BCHL? is this going to stunt his development? also, i can't find much about him pre BCHL. how on earth did we find him?
2. Shane McColgan. - I liked him at Traverse City. What's with his big numbers for Kelowna? Does he have a ton of assists because of linemates? Is he projected to be more of a passer or scorer?
JT Miller is looking great!

fogarty is playing there because he plans to go to college (notre dame) and he'd lose his eligibility playing in the CHL. he opted for bchl over ushl but main reason is to play ncaa next year. last year he was a high schooler in minn.

I had to search relatively hard to find this, and I also dont trust the source, but it is at least a small snippet

D Dylan McIlrath didn’t practice Monday. He took an elbow to the head in a Saturday game, but head coach Mike Stothers told Gourlie that McIlrath was having a “maintenance day” and that he also had a touch of the flu. .

Definitely +1!!! Very valuble work for the rest of us!
BTW, could we put a like "Inj" next to a injured player instead of a cross?

Haha I agree, it seems like the player died with the cross

According to a prospect blogger,McIlrath was concussed over the weekend. The same guy who reported McDonagh and Stepan weren't leaving Wisconsin.

Does he have any suggestions as to when/how it happened?

McColgan is better than Callahan was at the same age. Granted, Cally took a crazy leap forward every year since he was 21 and could not have been expected to be this good in his post-draft year, but still. I like McColgan a lot.
He could potentially be better than Cally because of superior skating. But even if he never becomes as good as Callahan, if he can play with similar intensity while scoring 30-35 points, he'll be an exemplary third line RW.

Damn,
www.ontariohockeyleague.com for the video. It says they don't think it was intentional blow to the head, but that looked vicious to me. I don't like that.

yeah its not a very good video, i watched it 5 times and still wasn't sure what happened...it appears that thomas is on his back with the guy on top of him (before the camera pans over) and thomas swings his stick at the guy's head from the ice...
be curious to see the events that led up to it...not that it would justify it but still
