Based on their crowds antics during the recent Carolina game - of course they will boo him.

But the hypocrites will be rooting for him when he cracks the US Olympic team in a couple of years - and you know he's going to...

Hmmm... Something's missing...

Oh yhea! No mod warning about trolling the Bruins board or how to react to Bruins trolls here?

My gosh, people. Is this a Montreal/Boston game, or it's not?!?

Hey Guys.

First off, great job against Philly. Its about time that team shows they have some kind of a heart beat (no offense, but lets be serious).

Good to see Cole get in the the game and Patches play like he's 100%.

A few things though.

A) For those of you curious if the Garden will boo Patches: They will. Please note that it is the pink hat fan base that jumped in because of the cup run and only heard the "Montreal fans called 911" part of that story.

Just as not every single one of you called 911 and infact, some of you have even frowned upon it, not every single one of us will boo Patches. There are still those of us who have respect for the game and wouldn't think of booing a talented kid who was hurt in an unfortunate event. I apologize on behalf of all the fans who make us look classless and heartless. You should all know by now my take on that situation.

B) Enough with the picture stuff. I know it is funny, and an easy target, but thats something they do yearly for sick kids in hospitals. Children that have terminal illnesses appreciate seeing their favorite players in goofy costumes. It may be the best day they have all year.

You mocking them makes you no better than bostonians booing Max. Illnesses and injuries the same, lets show some respect.

On that note, let hope for a good game, with no injuries.

Also, I havent decided if I am going to do a news article thread for either board today. I feel like no matter what I post its going to look biased because of my position.

I haven't made an official decision. If I post, ill try to keep it aimed towards Flyers-Canadiens news.

If you see a news article you want posted, feel free to post it in the News thread.

Thank you all.

This is a statement game for
Us. We need to come out flying at the start and get an early one. I generally likethe way the habs come out when playing tough road games. Go Habs Go!

FYI for the guy above

its great that the bruins take time to go to the children's hospital. That being said the 29 other team all donate their time to similar causes.

DO all of them dress like pink bunnies and crayons? no. So im ok with making fun of them.

I don't know if this is sarcastic or not, but I have managed to remain EXTREMELY neutral and respectful to both fanbases.

I don't want to see either antic, whether it be the costumes or booing Max.

Honestly I got a good feeling about tonight if 3 of the guys that been sucking since the start of the year show up tonight also.

Cole
Cammy
Subban

If they do, and the rest of the team plays a good game, we win.

OM goodness this is getting childish around here

Please don't boo Max. Please don't laugh at Chara in a bunny costume.
This is hockey for flips sake. It's our fun to boo and to laugh.
I couldn't give a rats ass if they do boo him, it will only make him want to play harder. If you didn't find it funny seeing Chara in a pink bunny suit, then there is something wrong with your sense of humor. It was hilarious. Does that mean he isn't a good guy for doing what he is ? Nope.

This needs to be on every page of this thread. Especially if the bruins 'fans' don't like it. They have a board of their own after all

Actually, I do believe there 1-2 posts in the thread so far that mentioned it was for charity.

Don't shoot the messenger who only wishes to inform. Although they did look goofy, it was for a good cause. I'll put it into "Taking one for a good cause" category of action.

I hope they can carry what they did in the 2nd and 3rd period into tonight's game. If they do, they will win.

I expect Patches to have a monster game, he has been looking forward to this game for an entire offseason, we know Wolverine, he will be fired up tonight.

Im not saying its not funny. Im saying calling them tools is disrespectful.

Just as booing Max is disrespectful.

Honestly, if saying I don't want the team members being called tools ensure there is "something wrong with me", Ill take that.

But if you are ok with people booing Max after what he's been through, I am not the one that has something wrong with them.

That being said, there is no emotion via typing. Im not being rude or trying to start anything. Im being as civil as possible, for I do actually like both teams.

This is a conversation, and my part of the conversation was asking for a little respect from both sides. If you don't want to be part of it, put me on ignore.

Having a laugh at people in silly costumes makes you as bad as cheering for a broken neck and major concussion.

the more you know

I'm pretty sure our players get called ''****'' ''frogs'' ''*******'' on the Bruins board, so allow me not to shed a tear here.

I can't predict the result of tonight's game, I suck at this, but I'm positive we'll have a great, intense hockey game! Here's to an injury free evening!

Maybe you should follow your own advice. If you don't like what you see in this thread then don't read it or comment on it.

Bruin fans have a different thought process than the rest of the world.
