I agree Gill was horrendeous last night, and not just last night either. I am afraid he doesn't get to finish this season in the NHL.

Take a guess, how many Habs fans are there in the world? You really expect ALL of them to be classy and well behaved and mature about things?

If you do, you are delusional.

Players always say, Montreal is the best place to play when you are winning and the worst when you are losing. That's it, take it or leave it. If you can't handle it as a player, don't come here to play .. simple as that.

I always give the example of Marcel Dionne vs Guy Lafleur .. Dionne was arguably the better player, yet he is a virtual unknown in this province .. You play for the Habs, you give it your all every game every shift, you are loved, respected, idolized for life. Otherwise? You are largely ignored the minute you retire. That comes at a price. Don't like it? Don't play here.

I laughed irl at the thought of Martin even benching Gill. Not going to happen, even if suddenly Weber, Diaz and Emelin start playing like all star D and Markov is back

Wow, the Bruins record is much worse than I realized.

This game might as well be renamed the Yakupov sweepstakes.

Amen! No matter how much they claim "I come in peace" there's some passive aggressive trolling going on around here.

Gill really stood out (in a bad way) for me in the first, but after that his slowness was overshadowed by how awesome the rest of the team was. I like Hal, but you might be onto something. Defensive coach, maybe?

Hockey-wise... Maybe. However, I wouldn't like to be a Colombian National soccer team player and cause my country to lose...

seriously. The Ruins could win the Cup 20 times in a row and I'd still hate them, even more!

not sarcastic at all.

im just sayin': a bruins fan coming in here and lecturing us about respect and actually being right, well that's gotta be enough to make some heads explode

I'd agree with you, although if there's one game in which Gill can be useful, it's against the Bruins.

We all know he's not a fighter, but only him has the huggling skills to actually neutralize Chara and all the other hot heads after the play, when needed.

I can't count how many times he saved Subban's a** last year!

Let's hope we still have the Bruins' number for the next two games.
