Brown should be the one dropped from that line, not Penner.

Murray has a meeting with Penner asking him for more and then demotes him down to the "3rd" line.

Parse in a shutdown role with Richards?

Don't get how we have had an easy go on the schedule when we've already played 9 games and 6 of those games are against playoff teams a year ago.

And our schedule isn't getting any easier. LA, COL, @CAR, @WSH, @PIT, @DET, FLA, @COL, SJ in our next 10 games with 2 more back to backs thrown in there.
I don't consider Phoenix and St. Louis playoff teams...Blues are getting closer. Phoenix is going to be nowhere near what they were last year. So maybe not that weak, but 4 of the 9 are against terrible teams. Good wins against Chicago and Anaheim, and probably deserved one against us last week. 4 against Phoenix and Columbus is a little light though IMO.

Yep, Penner's been fine.

TM much like some of our fanbase, just pick on the easy target to get his point across.

I just lose so much respect for TM when he pulls this kind of crap.

Parse is the most skilled forward the Kings have. *tongue firmly planted in cheek*

Let's see if Richards can get him going.

Now here is why I miss espn or GCL. I could watch the game with a couple of hours delay and still be able to see the game before heading to work. Now it is live stream or a day later. I will not be watching this one live, I'm too ****ing old to get up in the middle of the night and then try to catch some hours of sleep and then manage to still be productive at work.

Probably i will be laying sleepless watching spiders making love in the ceiling and end up unproductive anyway.

Who am I kidding I don't have spiders and I will end up watching it regardless productivity.

Haha.

Clearly the last loss wasn't because of lack of intensity, losing every one-on-one battle, and egregious passing in all three zones. Rather, it was because our line combos were messed up. If only Brown was on the 3rd line we clearly would have won 10-3.

Talk about taking things out of context and greatly exaggerating...

It's just frustrating how some players are allowed to work through slumps while others get lambasted and demoted immediately.

Just a tiny bit frustrating...

Brown and Richards have shown practically no chemistry whatsoever at even strength, yet Murray keeps the two joined at the hip. For a coach who tends to make changes daily, he's oddly obsessed with keeping those two together.

Does Brown have so much clout in the organization that he can somewhat dictate what line he's on? Or is TM just clueless when it comes to offense? I mean, he's done great things defensively, but I do not understand TM's thought process (if any) on offense.

Just the constant line changes alone is stupid

How come after 1 loss the team decides to erupt and switch lines and insert some ****** player into the 2nd line to play with Richards, might as well put me out there ill play for free and wont have a clueless facial expression on my face the entire game.

I predict 1G 1A for Parse, 2G from Richards and, and 1 A for Brown.

It's just mind boggling. TM is a solid coach, but for all his strengths, line combo's are his glaring weakness. It's the main reason why our ES scoring is so poor. He's just not good at pairing forwards. Defensemen he's great with.

Still, flip Richardson and Moreau and I'd at least be warm to these lines.

Much rather see Penner on 1, Gagne on 2.
