I hope the lines stay this way. MaxPac is a fantastic ES player and I think he will thrive more than Cammy in the tough-minutes roles. Cammy is a brilliant offensive player who can utterly murder lesser lights if he gets soft minutes (like he did with Iggy in Calgary).
TSN pointed that out and said Martin made a good coaching move.

Too bad TSN notices the good things he does but not a lot of our own fans.

This is the kind of injury no amount of toughness can prevent. Like most of our injuries.

Add Philadelphia to the list of places where Subban will be booed, if he's not already booed there for some odd reason.

Philly's was actually one of the few fan bases that had a logical reason for booing Subban (his one-sided war of words with Flyers Captain turned scapegoat Mike Richards).

It was actually that incident and Don Cherry's raving intolerance for anything... different that led to Subban's current reputation around the league.

I'm surprised that the Canadiens won a game refereed by Chris Lee. Not only that, but he allowed a goal that was under review.

Subban is the main reason as to why Mike Richards was traded away. In Los Angeles, Mike Richards will not have to worry about Subban more than once a season, barring pre-season/SCF considerations.

My impression was that we were playing too tight in the first, afraid to make mistakes that would cost the game. I think some of the vets stood up and told the younger guys to relax and just play the game and the result will take care of itself. The 2nd and 3rd goals seemed to lift a huge gorilla from the guys' backs...hope it shows again tonight.

To me the 3rd goal was the turning point.

Start of the second, seemed like they were still a little shaky.. then started to get the ball rolling, Laviolette takes a time out.. that kinda renergized them.. 2nd goal gave them comfort but the 3rd really took the monkey off their back.
