The 3rd period should be promising.

Pacioretty didn't play in the last 5 minutes of the period... Is it only because of the penalties/PKs?

I hope they come out flying!

Time for PK to play hockey, not take part in some weird sideshow.

seems like something martin would do. Yeah lets bench our bet player of the yr so far because of a bad penalty or two. How about you actually give Paches an earful instead of snubbing him and making him sit you

3rd period is going to be awesome. Can't wait for Saturday either.

And the Subban-Marchand fight was probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Now PK has to score the winner with 1 second left in the game by deflecting it off Marchand's face.

Please. And thank you.

Pk laughing during the fight is priceless, this kid is having alot of fun out there. No way he retires before he's 50 years old... Sign him long term no problem there...

Why is AK benched this time? 7 ****ing shifts all game! Something's got to give. Play him or trade him.

Agreed. The thing is, I thought he was playing a very good game before the distraction. He hasn't been pouring on the points, but his last couple of games have actually all been quite good. He's winning battles in his own end, getting the puck to the right guy, and every once and a while going on a rush up the ice to keep the defence honest. Basically exactly what we want him to do. If he keeps playing smart hockey like that, the points will come.

Not that I think Subban is way better than Marchand, but he's our #1 D, and that's quite harder to replace than a top-6 winger.

Winnipeg Jets 6

Philly Flyers 4

End of 2.

JM had his job saved because we beat the Flyers. And Winnipeg is destroying them tonight.

My useless comment of the day : Cammalleri's shoulder look wider than last year, new shoulder pads? And damn if he was just a little bit faster he'd have so many more opportunities.

The Habs definitely lost the tradeoff in the Marchand/Subban b.s. show.

The worst part is it's for interference/holding penalties, the bruins' bread and butter. Give us our slashing and tripping if you want, but call the others fair.

So we should expect Ray Emery to retire at 60 because he had A LOT of fun fighting a few years ago

If he also passed more in some superb opportunities he'd have alot more assists. - This isn't a hate post people.. I love this guy. Just wished he'd pass when there is some great chances. Such as on the PP today.. he had a beautiful lane to pass it to Cole I think, not sure.. but he decided to shoot it instead. But that's him.

Sometimes you gotta fight. If Subban backed down, he would have been harassed and targeted all night by more players than just Marchand.

Not helping that we're on the PK all the time.
