Wolski and Christensen need to go. A waste of two roster spots.

Get well now Staalsie

Back to say that this was a totally BOO-able game.
The folks at the Garden who booed were absolutley correct.

And anyone who blames Lundqvist should get a grip.

The Whale could have played better tonight. This is not a TEAM. It's a bunch of guys wearing the same uni.

HHAHAHAHAHAHaHhahAHAHhAhA.

Thats all you can really say. I am not mad either...We saw this a mile away, we played well in the first period because we were filled with adrenaline...We played the last 2 periods like we usually do. NOTHING has changed.

Not that it would've made much of a difference, but those two calls against Dubinsky were horrific. I don't think I've ever seen that "unsportsmanlike" ever called in game for that. Jesus.

First star goes to the fans who paid money to go to the Garden tonight and watch their favorite team embarrass them and themselves on the ice

No other stars will be handed out.

Three Stars:
1) Gaborik
2) Girardi
3) Del Zotto

Bad game for Lundqvist, four goals that should have been easy saves. Completely different team in the 2nd and 3rd. The team can't make tape to tape passes, which is kind of sad. Maybe if the lines weren't different every shift that would help. But what do I know? I'm just a frustrated Rangers fan.

Oh well, I'll move on. On to the next one. I'm still confident this is a good team, but I'm starting to lose faith a little bit.

If this slow start to continues, I wouldn't mind seeing Torts get canned, although I'm not sure how much that would solve. Something has to happen to shake things up like that or maybe a trade.

Pretty much the entire team sucked tonight. From Lundqvist on out.

Nobody deserves a star tonight.

Dubinsky is playing like garbage, Callahan hasn't been Callahan, Stepan is slumping, Boyle is reverting back to form (calling it now, last year is his career year). The only player to show up on a consistent basis is Marian Gaborik.

We're 8 games in. We've played maybe 2 periods of hockey so far. I'm ****ing sick of it.

"We want ice cream"

Horrible game, per usual.
Send Dubi and Stepan down to the Whale for a wake up call and replace Torts with someone with actual motivational skills.

awful...i really felt that their play so far this season was because of the travel and being away from home, but now there is no excuse, this team has gone back into the dark ages, i'm going there, so frustrating, this team with so much promise, made a couple small tweaks this season...but now i wanna make some more tweaks, ship out christensen/wolski and bring up zukes...he might be helpful

Im starting to switch my feelings. If we're gonna lose and be out played might as well have Hagelin borque in there instead of Christensen and Wolski .

This team played great in the first period and should have had a 3-0 lead if not for incompetent reffing, then they just played like AHLers for the rest of the game

I never thought I'd end up being glad that I missed the first two periods of a NYR home opener. Terrible, terrible performance from what I saw. Losing is understandable - still not being able to get shots on goal isn't and I'm so, so sick of blaming Torts for players not shooting. SHOOTING is a basic part of the game - no team should need any certain quality of coaching to be able to get more than 4 shots on goal in a period. Strategy certainly may be contributing to the problem but totals this low can't be blamed entirely on strategy.
