First he plays with Dorsett who is without brain and bad playing Pahlsson he did not get a chance with better players. IMO maksim will not play for us anymore he will want to trade or he will play in Russia... and we will be happy with players as Dorsett, Bass... good job!!!
Savard and Mayorov, two players obviously NOT responsible for this 1-8-1 start, get demoted so players like Johnson and Dorsett can continue to suck and lose games.

At least Calvert's coming back...
I have a sense Dorsett is Arniels favourite... as Glum would ssay... "he is my preasure" this boy does not belong to NHL!
About time, many would say. But are these the right moves? I like Savard better than Russell or AJ, and probably Clitsome, as well. Mayorov has played better than half the remaining forwards, too. And Calvert, at last report, hasn't done much to earn a return to the NHL, either. Moves are fine, but they're supposed to address a problem. I'm not sure these are, in any way, corrective.
These moves do seem curious. I did not get to see the Buffalo game but I thought Mayorov had been playing fairly well. Savard had his ups and downs. Calvert probably shouldn't be back up with the big club since he really didn't do anything to "earn" his way back.
I'm wondering if we should just send RyJo back to juniors. Not because he can't really hang here, but it would save us a year on his contract and probably help ensure a higher overall draft pick. I will never root for the CBJ to lose, but I will take a top draft pick as a consolation prize if it must happen.

I agree with Savard Moore is bettter in NHL than he... but I would trade Johnson, Clitsome, Brassard, Dorsett and one of the couple Methot/Martinek for speed stay at home d-man and a wing becuase IMO Moore has played better than one of them and I would keep him here.
I've been pretty quiet in terms of questioning the roster moves this team has made this season, but this one is really perplexing. Mayorov has been pretty decent, he's definitely played better than Giroux and Dorsett. Savard has been good and bad, but better than Johnson. I won't bash Clitsome for being overused by Arniel, he shouldn't be in the position he's in, a 9th round draft pick leading the team in average time on ice is just stupid. Add to that Calvert has done nothing in Springfield to warrant the recall, 0-0-0 -4 in 4 games. I just don't understand the point of these moves at all.
Exactly. Switching boarderline NHLers/career AHLers back & forth really does not matter. The overall lack of skill & depth in this organ-I-zation is depressingly subpar.
Considering that the talent at the signed for the long term level sucks, it is no wonder that the rest of the organIzation is not much help. Unless the return of Carter and Juice completely revitalize this team, I for one see no help for many years. With what Howson has locked up long term, this team's character (or lack thereof) will remain unmotivated, soft and inconsistent for a long time.
My hope is Arniel/Howson want Max to play as much as possible and that is why he was sent down. He really isn't a shutdown guy nor a hard checker so being with Dorsette and Pahlsson was not a good fit for him. When he was excelling in preseason he was getting a little extra room playing with Boll. When Jared gets back bring him up and put him on a line with Vermette and Boll. He'll be fine. Did I mention hope?

Agree... but I am shocked he was not trying with Johansen or in the line with Vermette and Umberger... and the line Pahlsson--Dorsett plays so much.
