I wish we'd have such ''small'' crowds.

Is that Marchand that plays for SMU any way related to Brad of the Bruins? I noticed they are both from Hammonds Plain, NS.

No disrespect to Marchand, but he is in the lineup because of injuries, otherwise he would not be playing.

Queens Golden Gaels 4 @ RMC 2. We took a nap in the 3rd that a koala bear would love and that was the difference.

Add another CIS alumni to play in the NHL as Bracken Kearns formerly of the Calgary Dinos is currently making his NHL debut with the Florida Panthers tonight at age 30.

UNB 7 - StFX 6. Not a night for the goalies. X was up 3-1 after 1st period.
Dal 5- STU 3. This game was tied twice. Tigers with empty netter.
SMU 4 - UPEI 1. Cam Fergus back in Huskies lineup and scores.
UdeM 4 - Acadia 4. Old time Aigles Bleus hockey with goals coming off rush. This one got feisty with lots of scrums.
All games webcast, although SSN didn't show UNB-StFX game until 3rd period with technical difficulties. Moncton wins best broadcast of night - most exuberant play-by-play call and only production to use two cameras.

Can't believe the score in the UNB-X game. Usually STFX is pretty responsible defensively. Was Perricone in nets?
Did Cam Fergus have a pro tryout?

Yes, Perricone and Fullerton were in nets. Fergus was injured I believe.

I thought Fergus was moving on...he isn't listed on the roster on SMU's website. Either way...huge addition for the Huskies to have him back.

Not CIS regular season, but RMC headed down interstate 81 to play Utica College Pioneers in exhibition. Utica College is Divison III. Did not go well for us. 7-1 loss.

Yes Fergus was on the Elmira Jackals roster at the start of the
year but was released on October 12.

Two straight losses for McGill. Pretty surprising, especially against the Stingers.

Smu 5 Sfx 3
Despite a rash of injuries (Wharton, Cuthbert, Okeefe, Hawes, Bloodoff), SMU pulled out a win against one of the top teams in the AUS. SMU played a simple game of chip out, chip in and didn't give SFX too much. A decent weekend against STU and UdeM will put SMU back in the hunt.

Big win for SMU....I know St. FX has had a tough schedule so far but they can't be too happy with a 2-3 start.

Where did this Gerrad Grant kid come from for SMU. Never announced as a recruit but looks pretty good against STU so far.
