I saw a Canes commercial last year with an old man and a inline skating girl on the sidewalk. The old man was a Wings fan and the girl a Canes fan. The girl checks him into the bushes. As both a Canes fan and a CBJ fan this was possibly the best commercial I have ever seen. I have searched and searched for it on the internet, but no luck. Anybody have a copy or link?

Fox Sports Carolina's aired it last season, or the season before. Unless someone recorded it and put it on youtube under a name like "15.avi", it probably got sent into a time capsule.
They've aired it a few times over the course of the last 2 or 3 seasons I think, it's bound to be somewhere. You're going to have to get creative with the search though.
I never much cared for it personally because the dubbed in Forslund call is from Ruutu's hit on Schubert I believe, which obviously had nothing to do with the Wings.

Maybe I just liked it so much because of my years of being in conference with the wings and having their obnoxious fans invade our arena where they talk trash to the cbj fans, throw octopi on the ice etc. So for me it has more to do with disliking the wings and their fans than the actualcommercial.

What I always wondered was do they stuff it down their pants to get past security and keep it there until the end of the game?
I like the fans here, they are much nicer. It seems like the region from Detroit, Buffalo, Philadelphia have the rudest, most obnoxious fans in the league. Much more laid back here.
Although I must admit that I don't quite get the Ric Flair connection.
