Trotz said Erat will slide into SK's spot in the lineup so based on lines from yesterday's practice...
Erat - Fisher - Smith
Hornqvist - Legwand - Wilson
Spaling - Smithson - Tootoo
Halischuk - Geoffrion - McGrattan
Look for McGrattan to be motivated tonight going against his former team. Ducks treated him well though and got him back into the NHL, so it'll be a fun night for him, but still...he's gonna want to get on the scoresheet...
Will be interesting to see how we fair against Anaheim's size. I think we can manage against the speedy second line, but Weber/Suter and going to need to really clamp down all night on Getzlaf/Perry...
Something tells me McGrattan and Parros have talked already
We need a win tonight. Hiller is back and their defense is stronger than it was at the beginning of the season last year. This is a different Ducks team than we faced in the play offs. The offense is essentially the same, but the defense is going to be tighter. It will be a tough one. Weber has to keep his cool when Perry starts in with his crap. I think Hornqvist can draw a few penalties tonight.
Was hoping SK would be good to go, but hopefully this is just a "let him rest" situation since Erat is ready to go.
Won't be able to catch it. So far this year when I haven't been able to see the game we are 1-0 with another victory in a game of which I only saw half.
Once again, AW, nice GDT. I hope you guys have fun tonight!
edit: he probably will not be sporting it tonight, but if Hiller is wearing a mask that looks white you should check it out. His Movember mask is pretty awesome (Perry looks like a Vaudeville villain on it)
I've got a short range at our place. Just a bit over 75 yards/68.6 meters. 7mm-08 Remington with a steady rest. Makes me look like a better shot than I really am.
Don't let him lie to you. One time we were frog giggin' when we came across a snake. John pulled a (I believe) .38, shot, and killed it. Keep in mind that the entire time I was holding a .22 loaded with rat shot prepared for that exact moment. As I aimed I was told, "No, I've got it... (shot)."
The moral of the story is don't mess with this guy
