Erixon, Newbury to Whale

The #NYR have assigned D Tim Erixon and F Kris Newbury to the @CTWhale
Erixon saw just 7 minutes today.

Unless Staal is better, I vehemently disagree with Erixon being demoted.

Newbury, however, has been the epitome of useless. See ya.

any word on replacements?

Rupp and Woywitka can fill in but then we have no extras?

No word on any corresponding moves for #NYR. Possibilities include Hagelin coming up, Rupp healthy, maybe Stralman being signed.
Maybe we will find out after tonight's Whale game. Don't get why Erixon is punished after what seemed like his first poor game.

Erixon needs to play and not 7 mins a night. Maybe Stralhman will be signed or good news on Staal.

Newbury is worthless. Saw that coming. Erixon has been alright, but he has had some shaky moments as well. It worked out well for McD down there.

Moves coming?

Praying this means Staal but I doubt it.

Quite frankly, Erixon belongs in Hartford. Does not good for his development to give him no minutes.

He was also pretty bad today

Was at the game...Torts was shaking his head and putting his head in his hands all day but Newbury and Erixon were the main culprits.

Erixon was B-R-U-T-A-L...Brutal. Funny thing is that I turned to the person I was with and commented on how awful he was playing and then I look down at my phone and I read a tweet saying how Erixon is "getting better and better every game". Exhibit A why I don't trust anyone elses opinion.

I think Erixon is much better than Eminger. Eminger is really bad.
Maybe playing with Woywitka help stabilize him. He's -7 is worse on the team and he was on for the last goal against today. He is somehow a magnet for goal against. Which I hope stops.

Erixon was pretty bad today and has struggled in a few games other than this. Definitely agree with the move but I'm not exactly comfortable with the Eminger-Woywitka pairing either.

Regardless, this is best for Erixon's development in the long run.

Christensen remains on this team. Wen he fails in the shootout, he is completely useless.

So Rupp back in for Newbury, won't they need another forward if Wolski gets suspended or am I missing someone?

Was at the game today. Hope this means we'll hear good news on Staal soon. Torts needs to go

No, he just hasn't been playing very well.
