Kinda dead in here tonight
Seems like with this team once we get a lead they decide to play..
Once we are down, they pack it in for the rest of the game

Good for Bryz having a solid first period. Hopefully this will give him some confidence.

Yeah that's exactly what they did the other night when they were down 5-1 to Winnipeg.

Defense needs to tighten up a bit.

Meszaros on that last play just kept backing up until the guy was close enough to take a good shot. He and the rest of the D need to step up on guys. There is no reason for the Canes to get a shot on net when its a 3 on 3, let alone a decent chance on Bryz.

It seems like the opposite. We score first and then get **** on...but down 5-1 we come back with 7 goals.

I really don't think Prongs wants to wear a visor at all.

With those remarks to the reporters, I'd say no. Got a good bit of humor from him as usual, and from Timmy P too.

Great to see Prongs joking and being himself and being very upbeat, and I was laughing when they kept asking about him wearing a visor!!

Decent first period. . . nice to see Bryz be a little shaky, but make the saves he needed to make.

I'd like to see the Flyers put up a goal or two more, but I'm feeling OK about this one as long as they keep playing like they do.

Pronger (off B. Meltzer's Twitter): "Been bedridden for four days... Rode the bike gingerly today... Vision still a little blurry because of eye drops."

If anyone else is watching the Canes feed, that whole bit with the autograph signing with Sutter was cool. Seems like a very down to earth guy.

Very satisfied with the first period.Really happy for hartnell, his style of play aint pretty, but he is very effective and a tough customer to deal with out front.Bryz hit rock bottom the other night just as an alcoholic or drug addict will do,and it was refreshing to see him admit it,which is about half the battle.I really admire the guys honesty, and i think he will be just fine as we go along deeper into the season. Our Itallian hit man is lookin good tonight, he brings some good energy to our club !
