good , after that crap loss today they have to send a message and shake tings up.
Newbury is a AHLer. He's fine for a spot fill in here and there but that's it.
I figure a call up is coming and EC back to sitting
With Erixon it's just the smart move .Let the kid get tons of minutes down in the minor
A dman is coming. Stalman? Mara? Would love it to be Staal but he cant just be ready with no practices.

Sending a bottom pair defenseman and a fourth liner is sending a message?

do you expect them to make a big deal 9 games in? All they can really do is move a few bodies in and out.
For the most part they played better today.
Let's see what the moves are.
Would be interesting if Hagelin came in.

Even if Staal was completely healthy and ready to start practicing tomorrow, it would take time for him to be game ready. As such, I don't think this has anything to do with Staal. Either Stralman is signing, a trade is impending, or the Rangers simply want to go with Woywitka and give Erixon time in the AHL.

I don't expect them to do a lot. But I hardly see this as sending a message.

as of now there are no spares so something is coming. May be simple call ups but something

Hagelin is not on the first line in the wahle game now played ther in the first period. so might be if his not injured, Avery has taken his spot with Zuccarello and Mitchell and is refusing to pass the puck:/ 0-0 after 2. third starts now.
Edit: Hagelin on the second line with JAM and Devaux

What I want? Avery. What we're probably going to get after the Whale game tonight, Zuccarello.
I'm thinking...
Wolski - Stepan - Gaborik
Dubinsky - Richards - Callahan
Fedotenko - Anisimov - Zuccarello
Rupp - Boyle - Prust
I don't know why EC still has a spot on this team, even as a scratch

so the Whale are playing. Good to know. Zuke should get the call back up
On D it better not be Bell. It would be interesting if Valentenko got a chance. No idea who has been playing well in CT

Whale up 1-0 (Thurreson).
MZA has been good, his vision is superb.
Avery has been bad. Two penalties (one unsportsmanlike from the bench and one slashing behind the play). He refuses to pass and has tried some hopeless toe drag pass several times with no luck.

And i'd be perfectly fine with that.
AA needs to realize it's not acceptable to play the way he's been playing. In fact, if he doesn't wake the **** up, I want Torts to sit him to send him a message.

He is no first liner thats for sure, not even in the AHL. 1-1 now 7 min left 2-1 sharks on the pp. 5 min left

Sending two ahl calibre players to the ahl is not really sending a message. Sitting guys for two periods of play IS sending a message.

Glad to see Zuccarello still playing strong. He deserves actual minutes on the NHL club.
Maybe Avery can teach Christensen some pointers in the shootout
