Not a great PK shift there by Brouwer. Missed a chance to clear it then skates by the rebound.

Looks almost like TV thought the initial shot went in before the rebound. The team needs to play better around him.

Really big save there from Vokoun. Huge. Gives them a chance to stay in it.
All kinds of time left in this period. Buzzer can't come soon enough.

Dominate effort by the Canucks to this point. Lucky to be down by 1. Caps need to get in the same gear as the Canucks, if thats is possible.

One game's hardly a losing streak, when we start plying like the Rags I'd be more concerned. Without Green, and how crappy our D was last night, it'll really depend on which Luongo shows up; LOLongo or...You get the picture. I think the Caps can get the W (it's 2-1 last I checked), just as long as we have tighter D and keep the puck out of our zone, the usual.

This offense is consistently one-and-down.

It's kind of sad how sloppy their breakouts are without him.

Good think my kids aren't awake to see those people painted up like Smurfs. If so I'd be making a trip tomorrow for some blue body paint.

Perreault really getting exposed. A turnover directly resulted from being a shrimp right there.
Ovechkin, on the other hand, looks great.

Nice sign of life from the Boys to close out the period. Need to carry it over to the 2nd though.
