it was a dirty play that injured a defenceless, unsuspecting player who also happens to be a star and a longtime captain and franchise player. you'd have to think there will be a suspension here and if there isn't, the "crackdown" is over.

Tortorella is such an incredible d*** . He says Alfie ran into his player . It's no surprise that team is struggling, their leader and coach is deluded. What really burns me is Konopka gets five and a game, and a possible suspension, and then Anisimov comes back within seconds to play in his own powerplay. While Alfie is probably gonna miss some time for that blatant elbow to the head and Wolski gets 2 min. The league better do more or I hope the sens take matters into their own hands next time they play.
1 game tops, would not be surprised if it's 0. Same justification as Neil-Grabo, you could argue Wolski's just breaking for impact and the 2 min minor is penalty enough, esp. given no history.

Did Steckel get suspended for the hit on Crosby? It's been a while but I don't think he did.
Shanny is going to look at Wolski's (Sp?) record too and whether or not Alfredsson recovers quickly. I'd very much like Wolski to get 4+ games but all I gotta say is I expect Neil to come home with a bag full of treats (in this case, the shrunken heads of Connolly, Kessel, Schenn, Grabovski...).
