Omark.

Well, read this before you judge.

We all now the "youtube kid". A little swedish guy with attitude.

Oilers got him. But they are all set with Eberle, Hall and Nugent. Last games he doesn´t even play=cheap trade.

This guy is not a grit player. But boy can he hold the puck and protect it. "Nylander" clone in the making. This is IMO the guy we need for a 2:nd line. A guy that can hold and make plays.

I think we can get him cheap to since Oilers (Renney) doesn´t use him.

What do you guys think?

Would love to acquire him, skill and passing ability is what this team needs; Omark brings both of these things.

However, if Renney doesn't use him, I don't see why Tortorella would.

Torts + Omarks makes no sense. Stay away.

Yeah, maybe you guys are right.

Torts doesn´t like players like this. That´s why i have serious doubts he would bring us to a Stanley Cup final. All grit and speed. Talent is second for Torts.

Yeah, he has got the cup. But he did have alot of talent then. He probobly didn´t even know it.

But i think we can get him cheap. I think he is on the outs of Oilers. Why? This guy doesn´t belong in a 3:rd or 4:th line. He has got no grit or power. He needs to be in a playmaking line. IMO 1:st or 2:nd line. Below that he is going to be useless. Doesn´t play a good defensive game either. But i do think he makes up for it with puckhandling/puckholding skills. That´s what we need!

We already have the same player in the AHL. Why would we want another? Unless he came for practically free, no thanks.

He'd be bounced around both teams like zuke...

Seriously good player but not for Torts style..

Not enough "jam". We want grinders. Grinders, grinders, grinders, grinders and more grinders. And they've got to have "jam". And they need to be grinders.

Like nyr2k2 write: Torts would hate him. And we already have all he can offer in Zuke, who outscored him by points in Sweeden.

Omark
2007-2008 Luleĺ Elitserien 55 11 21 32 46
2008-2009 Luleĺ Elitserien 53 23 32 55 66

Zuke
2008-2009 MODO Elitserien 35 12 28 40 38
2009-2010 MODO Elitserien 55 23 41 64 62

I find it very sad that no NHL can find a way to use high skilled players like that. The NHL seem to be blinded by size and grit.
