Fisher will miss at least tomorrow's game and clearly they like Thang better than they like Bergfors, so they are making this move. Let's wait for some type of word before declaring Fisher out for the year (that's not directed at you Alex)...
Excited for Thang. Strong work ethic and good nose around the net. If somebody has to be called up, I'm assuming Fisher is out for a few games. Possibly a week. When dealing with a possible concussion you want to be absolutely sure. Symptoms can be triggered in various ways. (skating, exercise bike, running, etc)

bringing up Thang is a real slap in the face of Bergfors/Poile imo
Surprised bergfors hasn't been traded or waived yet if thang gets a call up over putting bergs in. Still, not sure what ryan thang has to offer this team offensively but I guess we will have to see. Surprised mueller didn't get the call.
Maybe Bergfors in, Thang in the stands? Are there any other healthy extra bodies for this road trip?
I like how Bergfors has played, when I have caught some games. Seems to have a lot of jump, and creating on offense when has the chance?
Guessing it is his defensive zone coverage that has given him limited playing time?
Josh Cooper's Twitter says Thang hasn't "officially been recalled" from Milwaukee "at this time"
He won't officially be recalled till tomorrow at 11 AM CST for salary cap purposes. Essentially, he's being paid an AHL salary today despite being scratched and being told to meet the team in Chicago for tomorrow's game...

Bergfors perhaps. Considering Poile made this call, I'm fairly sure it's no skin off his back. A reclamation project that clearly even the Preds can't seem to salvage.

From what I've read of Thang, his game is similar to Fisher's game - hard on the puck, and strong along the boards. Bergfors plays a different style of game. He's all finesse. I can see Bergfors playing more like Erat. Considering how we've struggled without a strong forecheck, no one should be surprised that a player like Thang is asked to fill in for Fish.
Bergfors may still have a place on this team, but it sure ain't in a Fisher-type role.
Nothing official that I know of. Just expecting the worst. Unless I missed something major.
For what it's worth, this morning Fish's Twitter said he was "feeling good today" and hoped he would be back soon. Could be worse....but ya never know and unfortunately "upper body injury" is the kiss of death for the Preds. It'll be very interesting to see if he goes on the west coast trip or not.
