I am not surprised I figure he would get called up sooner or later. The Rangers have nothing to lose if anybody picks him up on waivers since Dallas is already paying half his salary and they would continue to pay half his salary if somebody else picks him up

Oh, the Rangers have their answer back. I wish they'd run him out of the league already.

He's just such a cheapshot artist. And answer no. A helpful part, yes.

The Rangers picked him on Call up waivers from Dallas, so as it stands the Rangers pay 2M and the Stars pay 2M of his cap hit. If anybody picks him up the Stars still pay their share and the Rangers are off the hook.

In before Avery returns and the Ranger's go on a 4 game winning streak, causing every casual fan to chant "Captain Avery" during every home game.

(Ranger's fan who knows that Avery is not the chosen one)

Nah, if someone picks him up they pay 1/4 of the salary, rangers pay 1/4 and dallas pays 1/2.

He's the reason they've sucked so far. Look out NHL, here come the Rangers.

Sean Avery on Re-Entry Waivers

Post has confirmed that Sean Avery will be on re-entry waivers tomorrow. If he clears as expected, would be able to play Thurs v Ducks.

Well not yet, but it wouldn't surprise me considering they chanted "We want Avery" during both home games this season.

The fact that Ranger fans realize Avery will pass through re-entry waivers should be enough to realize he would help this team.
