The trade values of enforcers continues to bamboozle me too. ie. Hordichuk for a 4th, Fedoruk for a 2nd.
I don't know why these kinds of trades surprise so many people.
Enforcers that can play a regular shift have value. They always have. Some people get carried away by saying "So-and-so can only fight. He has no skills blah, blah, blah. He's not worth anything".
But the fact of the matter is that many GMs around the league do value this type of player. So when one comes on the market that's capable of playing in the NHL on a regular basis- yes they do have trade value.
Polly wants a fight is a decent skater and chipped in some decent goals in the AHL last year.
He got his eyes adjusted last year before the last St John's season and it made a difference.
Apparently though he decided he was a hockey player instead of an enforcer and Tie got demoed by McGratton and it should have been Nathan.
Good Luck Nate - They could use a high energy guy.
This guy is killer strong too - Perrott = brick out house.
