Putting Biron in is an interesting move. Hopefully this will actually force the team to play the full 60 minutes.

I figured Biron would play this game.

Western Opponent, Lundqvist already has played 8 of 9 games, Lundy has not looked good the last 2 games.

All signs point to Biron for this one, it is not like he is an incapable backup.

That's the spirit!

I'm hardly an optimist, but whenever this board is expecting a big loss or an easy win it goes the the opposite way it is expected.

I'm fine with starting Marty here. He played great in his one game and Hank has started a ton of games and hasn't looked too hot in either of his last two starts. Give Hank some rest, let Marty get some work, and hopefully the offense decides to show up.

We usually play pretty well against teams that are supposed to slaughter us.

I looked in the Rangers trick or treat basket for tonight and found:

23 shots
4 PPs
17 blocked shots
2 blown odd man rushes
2 offensive zone penalties
one period of professional hockey play
a juggling manual
a stray piece of old candy corn or maybe it's a tooth, i'm not sure.

Unfortunately the contents of this basket are probably not enough for a win. LGR anyway!

I would have to say the Rangers as a whole are one of the ugliest teams I have ever watched when it comes to odd-man rushes. It's like they have no idea how to enter the zone without dumping and chasing.....

6-1 SJ

More losses like this for now on, sick and tired of Sather/Torts show, too long of a Broadway run, curtains closing asap.

Now that’s a pretty positive post for your 2nd one…..

Usually it takes a week or two to hate this team……..

Exactly, we lose to the bad teams and beat the good ones

I've been a reader for awhile, got more time to talk pucks online now. Was not a huge Renney fan but he was the right coach for that time. Torts was never a good fit here. Then again neither was Sather.

Anyone employed by Dolan NOT getting paid for what they've already done somewhere else?? To me, thats the problem, too many egotistical blowhards and no one hungry enough to want to win just once, no matter if its in NYC, Winnipeg, or wherever.

Sharks tend to lose to backup goalies, they stand on their heads.

I would like to see Wolski string together some hard working games. His skill is there, he needs to show some effort.

I have noticed that every team says the same thing about back-up goalies. I know we do here on the Ranger board. With how much I read this statement one would think the back-ups should be the starters!

So are you saying you want to sign unproven free agents, and draft unproven kids and sign unproven coaches because they do not have a big ego. These are professional athletes and they all want to win.

It is new york and you cant take a bunch of chances with unproven commodities, you need to go after proven players, that have been there before, and mix it with the youth. Something the yankees have been good at.
