Hockey gods, you sure have started your "work" on the PREDS early. With that said, there's one big positive note about a PREDS who will be playing....#35, THE ERASER.

Ahh didn't know that. I'd switch Toots and Bergfors.

Erat - Smith- Thang
Hornqvist - Legwand - Wilson
Halischuk - Smithson - Tootoo
Bergfors- Geoffrion - McGrattan

is what I would roll with with erat taking every other shift from Mcgrattan

No Fisher, Spals, or SK74 is asking for trouble. I guess Bergfors will get a few more shifts out of necessity. The way the Hawks are playing, it's going to be ugly.

On the bright side, Frankie's return will help on the blueline. Who would you rather be without, Frankie or Spals?

Pumped to see Thang. He should have to earn his icetime though. I wouldn't start him in the top6. Take Spalings spot on the 3rd.

Keep in mind Nashville doesn't truly have a top six. The team typically only has a top line, and, though unlikely, that line could be the Smithson line...

Looks like Chicago's lines are:

Brunette-Toews-Stalberg
Sharp-Kane-Hossa
Frolik-Bolland-Bickell
Scott-Kruger-Mayers

Keith-Leddy
Hjalmarsson-Seabrook
Montador-Lepisto

Crawford
Emery

Does anyone else think a sign of the apocalypse is Legwand and Brunette (first goal in Preds history) playing against each other 13 years later after being teammates for a game in the inaugural "Fangtastic Finale" in 1999?

Nothing like Homebrew to start a road trip. Go Preds and start this road trip out right!

My Chargers are playing at the same time so I thnk I'm gonna go on a Twitter/Facebook/Boards boycott until after the game so I can watch on GameCenter. I think this is my sign off for the night. Go Preds.

If there's ANY coach experienced with such situations, that would be one Barry Trotz.

No Spaling, no Kostitsyn, no Fisher.

I'm going 6-1 Chicago.

I was there this past August!

Need Rinne to be better than usual tonight. Chicago will have the puck alot so a single goal for us might be in the cards.

GOOOOOAAAAAl. HORNS! Garbage but I'll take it.
