Same baloney, different channel different year. Greedy ********. Glad I didn't get NHL Center Ice this year, because the vast majority of the games they show are from the Fox regional networks.

I'm sure they'll figure it out and settle it eventually, but not before the customers get screwed for a little while and start flooding both networks with complaints.

so i called directv and they said that all the center ice games on the regional fox networks will NOT be blacked out on the center ice package. The only games that will be blacked are the ones that are in your local market due to blackout restrictions

Ha, I was JUST about to call directv to inquire about this. But I had a bout of procrastination and got on the forums first instead. Thanks for the update, this is good news.

I'm still mad that I'll miss other stuff. Half of the televised UM hockey games are on FSD this year. Louie is on FX. NatGeo has a bunch of good programming. Hopefully this gets worked out at some point.

****ing Fox/NewsCorp. They're the worst.

All 82 (well 70ish something) Wings games>NHL network.
Except for the Wings games that appear on NHLN, and when you pull up Gamecenter Live, the page will display a notice stating that, if you want to watch the game, you'll have to turn on a channel you don't have in order to watch it.

"Not be blacked out"? Are you talking about the normal [stupid] market area blackout restrictions, or are you saying that Center Ice will not be affected by this corporate pissing match?

If it's the latter, that is excellent news.

I haven't forgotten the debacle with Comcast. As an out-of-market customer, I'll believe it when I see the games via Gamecenter Live.

As reported elsewhere, DirecTV and Fox have reached an agreement.

Good. I could have done without all the posturing and fear-mongering by Fox, but I'm glad that's over with.
